Tommie's vs. Johnnies... if you were to handicap the game now before the season what would the spread be???

You are joking right?

UST
*3-Time National Coach Of the Year
*National Runner-Up 2012
*A boat load of returning, experienced players

SJU
*Retirement of the winningest coach in the history of the game
*Rookie head coach- trying to cobble together a squad after the worst W-L record in decades
*Game being played at UST-with game time being 1:10PM- Evil Neighbor- are you kidding.....

Handicapping this one is a no-brainer

In short, even aside from the better academics and job prospects of UST,  hope to get your kids into UST because of the greatness.

And to be honest, we should all at least appreciate St. Thomas.  They show the best of the MIAC, and what the MIAC can be. Thank God we have St. Thomas as a counterpoint to the U of M.

I have a 13-year-old that behaves like this.  But then she's 13.

Arrogance?

In all honesty, most of us Johnnies have been guilty of arrogance in regards to football in the past, but I cannot begin to comprehend Mr. MIAC's overall Tommie ego.  ::)

It's beyond arrogance. Mr. MIAC has sunk to the level of a troll.  Just go away. Or at least remove all reference to the MIAC or UST from your posts.

BTW, does anyone know who this guy is?  He has one of those anonymous email addresses.  Coward.

Man, I guess tongue in cheek doesn't come across very well in this forum nowadays.  I'll be in town for the UST/SJU game this year.  Perhaps we can all tailgate with a few beers, you'll discover my identity, and it will be clear that much of my UST promoting/SJU bashing is done in jest.

Tailgating at U$T?  Unacceptable!

Just because you might be different in public doesn't make you more genuine in public.

Deep thoughts...mind is blown...

Actually, I'd be pretty much the same in person only the SJU jokes would come with a smile.  And now let's return to football and banter...

Is anyone interested in getting together a group to grab beers before the UST/SJU game.  I'm thinking Tiff's or Plums.  Also, from what I hear the restrictive tailgating rules get pretty relaxed as long as people are acting as upstanding citizens.

We're Johnnies.  Chances of us "acting as upstanding citizens" are about as good as Hamline winning the MIAC in the near future.

To say he has sunk to the level of troll would imply that he had at some point in life been above that level.

Watching and DVRing the 2013 D3 football championship on ESPN3...looking forward to watching the Glen meltdown...didn't really watch the last moments last December.  I...unlike Glen knew the game was over in the last minute.
