Since I wasn't making a list I didn't forget Mighty Royal. But I agree I miss him too. He used to proclaim himself as the only regular Bethel poster on the board. I know he gave as good as he got. Maybe then he was the lone Bethel poster, I don't know.
He got pissed about something and left.

If I remember correctly, I believe that was TDT hard at work...

granpa bethel was a classic too, the name escapes me at the moment.  And for sheer amusement The White Silly should have a return engagement from planet Zoltar.
Here we go down memory lane. +k

The White Silly. Classic MIACPP and one of Duffman's favorites.

The White Silly. An Auggie, I think. Yeah, TWS is one of my all time favorites too. He was around a little last season, right?  Maybe he'll show up again this year when the games start.

Gents, (and others),

I've posted in the General part of this board some possible road trips for this coming fall to take in games from 5 upper mid-west conferences. Check it out here:

TWS was a classic. But he was a Bethel guy and former teammate. Actually a great player in his day. And he was absolutely hilarious if you enjoyed over the top, stupid humor. As a guy who enjoyed Dumb and Dumber & Tommy Boy way too much in high school, I definitely classify

I was thinking of some posters from the past that we haven't seen in awhile and I looked into Janesville Flash. He was last active in February of this year but hasn't posted since 2011. I remember he had some eye problems so stayed off the computer.

You forgot to mention Mighty Royal.  I miss Mighty Royal.  I miss Flash, too.  At least now we have Chicago Tommie.  CT reminds me of a guy from Texas whose son was recruited to play QB at Illinois College a few years back.  He announced, Texas style, that the Blueboys were gonna take no hostages, and his son was going to lead them.  Pat will remember.  Unfortunately, he didn't last, but I think CT may be here for a while, just to make Oz happy if nothing else.

Poster didn't last, no. His son is still with the team but did not throw a pass last year.

He wasn't happy we didn't like his Chuck Norris-isms.  I think Mighty Royal ran off with Chuck.

I believe you mean Scrappy 41 (not positive on the #)

His grandson was a heck of a RB (really) and was an Graduate Assistant for Bethel after his playing days were done. His grandson wore #5 for Bethel and was a MIAC rushing leader. Solid kid and a very proud grandpa.TC used to jerk the chain of Scrappy all the time & he would take the bait every time defending any & everything Bethel to TC's amusement.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

After a 7 year hiatus from this board I am back.  Been reading for the last five years, but seeing the way Chicago Tommie posts, we need some more SJU faithful on this board to pick apart his views.

That being said, I spent some time looking at film on some of the new out-of-state freshmen on the Johnnies roster.  The one that excites me the most is Jakob Certeza; looks like a big back with decent speed who can pound the ball.  I like having good California and southern kids, because the level of ball they play in high school is so much better than the Upper Midwest.

I think it was Scrubby. And he definitely took things a bit too seriously and personally. I don't think he ever fully grasped the genre of dialogue on this board. And yes, his grandson more than made up for it on the field.

Hello everybody! I guess I am a pet??? You guys up in Johnny land are little strange? But I would have texted alittle earlier but I was driving up to St. Paul to drop off my son at Tommie camp! Yes they sell beer and wine at soilders field no whiskey or scotch so if they sold it I wouldn't need to bend the rules! And bring it on I love the banter and I am looking forward to Mannys tonight!

CT-
Manny's!? Now you are on the Auggie side of The River! As far as that fancy scoreboard you like so much; it might ring true this fall at U$T but when you come to Augsburg in November you will be going home disappointed!
