Speaking of shootouts...the best part of attending small town football games is seeing all the camo and blaze orange jackets that make an appearance starting in mid Oct. You're not going to find that in the TC Suburban or Lake Conferences.

Ha!  I was a Fleet Farm the other day, and there were a bunch of high schoolers that really didn't seem like the hunting type buying blaze orange.  I overheard that they were all getting orange gear for the Osseo football game.  That made a whole lot more sense to me!

On a completely serious and non-football related note, my sister-in-law is receiving her last (hopefully) chemotherapy treatment right now.  We're all hoping she can kiss her ovarian cancer goodbye for good.  I'd appreciate any quick prayers for her and our family.  She's not a Bennie, but she married into my wife's family (my wife, her two sisters, her three brothers, and her dad are CSB/SJU alumni/alumnae).   

Noted, done, and to be done some more.  I hope things go well for her.  Unfortunately, we've developed an intimate knowledge of OVC during the past two years.

I've got to say, that while I enjoy some of Frank R's online SJU chats, I get awful sick of people hammering him with questions that obviously should be directed elsewhere. Do people realize that he's a newspaper reporter, not an SJU coach?  I'm not directing that comment at anyone here...just a general comment.  Frank, I know that you peruse this board on occasion, so know that I feel for you. 

Yea, I was getting as frustrated reading that as I was a couple weeks ago reading the breakdown on the Top 25 Poll as to why UST should be named "Co-#1" with Mount Union. Well that conversation went away and hopefully in the chat with Gary tomorrow we won't have the redundancy of questions.

Thanks for all the prayers, guys.  Unfortunately, Carrie was unable to get her last treatment yesterday due to some dehydration, but they're hoping to get it taken care of later this week.
