The new d3football.com front page looks sharp Pat!

Agreed.  Well done.  I really like the photos of the football stadiums. The Dubuque photo is awesome.  Looks like they built a really nice facility.

Just one issue, can't find the link to Post Paterns.   ;) 8-)
(Couldn't resist after reading a couple of other boards)

Where are they?

Maybe this will help, ROR.

I found it....looks good!  It reminds me about my idea for a a photo book on Minnesota football fields (high school and college) including some of the history and stories about them.  It would make for a great coffee table book.  I would need the help of some of you photographers out there.  That reminds me about my idea for a coffee table book about coffee tables with a built in coaster.
Also reminds about me idea

You should make it so that it turns into a coffee table.

Injury update from Frank as of yesterday:

Sophomore running back Sam Sura – the team's leading rusher – was back at practice Tuesday. He has been out with a sprained right lateral collateral ligament suffered in a win over Augsburg on Oct. 12.

"It felt really good," Sura said. "I only took a few reps today just to get back into the swing of things."

But Sura said his status for Saturday is still uncertain.

"I think we really have to see how it goes this week," Sura said. "I'd say it's still up in the air right now."

Nothing on Bruns.

Any word from St. Peter on the health of the Gusties?

Oh, so they DO stream the games, just not available on the internet for people who live elsewhere. :P

For example, no stream to somewhere in Melbourne for Oz Johnnie. :(

The Johnnie administrators on this issue SUCK!  I assumed they simply didn't have the camera capability, or internet prowess - now it is clear that just don't give a **** for people far away who want to watch (and would be extremely unlikely to attend in person).

I think they did this once a few years back, but then it was only in two locations (Chicago and San Francisco if I remember correctly).

While this is some progress, it is painfully slow. By the time SJU gets to free streaming webcasts for all, the rest of the D3 nation will have multi-camera, high-definition with ESPN-esque production value broadcasts.

Maybe the administration is going the full Heisenberg. Maybe they are giving out a few samples to build up some addicts. A couple hits and they may have a few hundred subscribers lined up for the big paid streaming launch.

EDIT:  In case anyone noticed, I modified this post because it was a bit harsh. Apologies if any administrators read it before I made this update.

If nothing else, this should draw a 15 yard penalty on the administration for taunting.

Yea, I agreee- but it's still not as bad as listing a Home Play-off game on your schedule before the season starts...... ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Man you Johnnies must have learned a lot of patience in college. If it was my school, I'd be hopping freaking mad about this. Not that it would do a lot of good, but the next time they called looking for money I'd tell them exactly what they need to do to get more from me. If they are doing this just to keep football (basketball?) attendance up, I can see the reasoning, but man does it absolutely kill any shot of sending my kid to that school if I live far away. Just about everyone else in D3 has found a way to let parents watch their kids play...

I recommend taking a quick look through the previous several thousand pages of this thread and you'll find plenty of Johnnies (including me) who are furious about the lack of streaming webcasts.

Hey, but I like that they're promoting getting together to share some fellowship along with the Johnnie football. My only complaint is the list needs to be expanded. Since I'll be deer hunting, I demand a streaming location in Orr, MN, even though that's still a 20 mile drive for me. SJU can choose from either The Dam, The Muni or The Legion, doesn't matter much to me. Or I'd happily travel up to Ash-Ka-Nam or Rocky Ledge if they wanna have it up on the lake.
