I think the 50,000 Watt blowtorch is putting on a full court press to get Gopher football back.  I believe it is up for bid starting with next season.  That could be a factor?

Yes, BMW, I will not put a stemmed wine glass in the cup holder...

The manufacturers probably put that sign there to avoid liability for Tommies who put their glass of Chardonnay in the cup holder.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Hear me! All hear me!
All pay heed!
The Lord! The Lord, Jehovah, has given unto you these fifteen--
Ten! Ten Commandments for all to obey!

He needed to drop one more tablet and bring it down to 5 Commandments.

Then I'd be good.  ;)

An estate sale some of you might be interested in.
Some really cool Hamm's and other beer and bar items.

There's been nothing post-worthy for me to put here recently and this probably doesn't qualify either. But I found myself amused on the train to work today as I looked at a woman holding a 12 pack of toilet paper under her arm in rush hour. I amused myself thinking of reasons she might be doing that: care package to Venezuelan relatives?  Just returned from a trip to Asia and drank a bit of local water?  Is a peace activist employed at the post office who has reached her breaking point?

Kam Chancellor is a full grown man. This game reminds me of the Vikings vs. Steelers Super Bowl. Could also be Vikings vs. Dolphins or Raiders. Peyton Manning is playing the part of Fran Tarkenton.

I was looking forward to watching the Super Bowl replay tonight. So much for that idea. What a lame game. I wonder why the SB turns into a blow out so frequently. Rarely do top teams blow out like that in the regular season but the big game often sees total domination.

Also, what about the entertainment and commercials?  They're virtually bigger than the game now.

My biggest gripe is that the Vikings will never taste SB victory, of course, but all that other stuff can irritate me in the mean time.

Complete domination by the Seahawks last night. I felt it necessary to call attention to the fact that there's a Johnnie (Kirchner) reporting to a Tommie (Schneider) in their front office...all is right in that organization!

All the best in the New Year!

NAB Challenge starts in two weeks and the regular season in six, Oz. How are the Hawks looking so far? Any big changes have you especially worried or optimistic?
