Someone really doesn't like me.  They are either logging on every day to -k me or have set up a robot to do it daily.  Dedication.  Kind of like Walter White and his 99.4% pure meth.

Johnnie-envy is a stinky cologne.  ;D ;D ;D
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Ha!  That clip made me love YouTube. I almost feel guilty for laughing at her pain.

Johnnies sweep the Toms in basketball this afternoon in St. Paul!

It's been a few years since that has happened.

According to Frank's article in the Times, this is the 2nd times in 3 seasons SJU has swept UST in Men's basketball.  UST won the conference with an 18-2 record, their only losses to SJU ;D

The Johnnie hockey team just beat UST tonight at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud. It was the only loss for the Toms all season.
The Toms were poised to become the first MIAC team to finish the regular season unbeaten since Augsburg did it 32 years ago.

I know every day is a great day to be a Johnnie, but today is especially sweet. :)

Here's something that might get the slumbering bears out of hibernation:

The Johnnie-Tommie hockey game at NHC was video streamed live.

Some teams get excited about winning a game or 2, while others win championships   ;)
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

A friend of mine had to make a trip Mauston WI last week so, I asked him to pick me up a case of Spotted Cow.

Have you tried the Fat Squirrel from New Glarus? I know it is a seasonal but, I was just wondering if you've tried it?

As Always Your Friend,

I've never had it, but one of my bro-in-laws raves about it, and he's got pretty good taste in beers.

A tradition unrivaled...

You are totally in Duffmans world when it comes to different beers.

For me, just make it a Hamm's. (and a shot of Jack)   8-)

ChicagoTommie

How on the hell do you drink Hams buddy?  The Jack is a mainstay but, Hams ??? I do like the old commercials.  I should know this but's what's with this Karma thing that was posted earlier and when are you able to use it...some one told me once, but it escapes me! How is recruiting going for the MIAC?

I have been away from the board for a while ;D

Duff, would this be one of Mrs. Duff's brothers or the youngin' who spent his formative years in Stockholm Township next to my parent's farm?

We have a guy weekend that is entitled "The Burnett County Man Competition" that is held in Grantsburg, WI every year.  It is actually at SFury's cousin's house.  There are a bunch of juvenile competitions throughout the day (Best Duck Hunt Score, Punt, Pass, and kick score, hatchet throwing, Texas Holdem, etc . . .) and the Burnette County Man is crowned Saturday night.  One year, everyone had to bring a secret beer and pour it into a glass for all to taste and rate.  If anyone recognized your kind of beer by taste, you and your beer got no points for that particular competition.  The highest scoring beer of the night?  Fat Squirrel.  How's that for an endorsement.  Every time I go to WI, I bring back some Fat Squirrel (you can't buy it in MN).  I also like their Staghorn Octoberfest.
