SUMMIT!!!!!

it was good to see a LIVE SPORTS WEB CAST from Collegeville this evening. Nice to know the technology is there. I couldn't see the Natural Bowl, but assume that was because the new lights weren't turned on.
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Fins- your return will coincide with the Polar Vortex 7.0 for the Winter that Never Ends!  :-\
I'm a pretty hearty outdoorsman, and have been known to scoff at people who bitch about weather, but this weather does SUCK!

Nice to watch.  I clicked on Vic Murphy's highlight video of the 2003 championship game and had to stop and type here when the infamously bad call denying Elliot the TD was made.  Heck of a catch, that.  But just one of may toe scraping TD's he scored.  I sure look forward to teams like that again.  I would not be surprised in the least to see it happen in the next few years.  The Magic (tm) is with Fasching.

EDIT:  And they just had a pan of the bleachers and someone was holding up a sign reading "Mount This!"  Ha.

The Elliott video is just incredible. So glad they put it together and online. I only saw him play maybe three times live, then the two Stagg games. There were plays here that no radio call could ever do justice: The catches on sidelines or back of the end zone, the insane punt returns, the breaking of tackles.

Those SJU teams were special because they had so many great players, on both sides of the ball, on the lines (ahem, Duff) and at the skill positions, in the linebacking corps and in the secondary. But the reason those teams were unlike anything we'd seen in decades or seen since? The reason those teams won a national title? No. 2.

My son played the final game of his youth hockey career last night. 11 years of traveling all over, hotels, tournaments, 35-40 games per year. Hitting every Subway in Wiscy.

Seems like I was just tying his skates before practices. Where does the time go?

I should have known the youth days were numbered when the team started drawing girl fans to the games.  ;)

Oh well, on to high school where they take team buses to the games, instead of riding with dad.  :'(

Time can fog some memories, thanks for posting sfury- +K
The amazing thing is he made 4 QB look pretty damn good over his years- Tom L. Ryan K. Ross D. & RJ W.-who had spot duties in some pretty big games, most memorable was the dome game in 2002 with Keating lost for the season & Denne down from the UST game with a high ankle sprain, RJ came out with a win over Bethel.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

So glad they had the punt returns against Stevens-Point.  I didn't get up to C-ville for that game and have only heard stories about them.  That was the last game played on grass at the Natural Bowl.
Please let there be another player similar to Blake in the freshman class this year...PLEASE!!!

Gustavus was talked about on the highly rated Sports Show tonight.  Trent Tucker apparently saw the Gusties beat the Johhnies in Hockey, which gave Sid an opportunity to tell how he, Dick Cullum and Louie Mose used to go down to Gustavus and bet on the football games.  They used to be like St. Thomas is today.  I wonder who was setting the lines back then....
