Not sure when the schedules came out on D3 Football's home page, but they are there now. The MIAC has only one non-conference game this year when Concordia Moorehead plays Jamestown, ND. Everyone else managed to find D3 schools to play in their off weeks for some interesting match-ups.  Bethel plays Chicago this year - not sure they've ever played against one another before. Carleton is playing Knox and Gustavus travels to Lake Forest. Nothing unusual in the remaining pair-offs that I can see. As Macalester moves into the UMAC, they only play Hamline and Carleton at the beginning of the season. Looking forward to the boys of fall taking the field once again.

Macalester actually joined the MWC, which is up one step from the UMAC on the ladder of West Region football conferences. They and the SCIAC pretty regularly battle for the privilege of being third-worst.
that's just like, your opinion, man.

Thanx for the correction Pat!

Duff,
This weekend we ventured to where the earth is flat- near the childhood home of Mrs. Duffman. We saw a Buddy Holley tribute at "The Classic Company" in Brooten. Just think a town of 700 people that has a dinner theater. Only in Stearns County..... :D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Heck, we were in Belgrade this weekend!  We had to get some spring rituals done at the lake and eat at the VFW Steak Fry with the M-I-L.  Our son got blanked in his first meat raffle.  :'(

Classic Company...did that used to be called John-O's?  We don't make the BBE rounds as much now that we have little ones.

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24

Speaking of Belgrade, I don't think my family ever passed by this place without stopping on the way home from the lake.

We ate at the Red Onion on Friday...twice.  You can see it from my M-I-L's driveway.  ;D

Nice!
Another "only in a small town"- the owner of the Red Onion has his own key to the butcher shop just in case he runs out of hamburger on a Sunday... you can't make that stuff up. Similar situations to where I grew up in Cokato.....

Well, technically, it's an opinion Keith and I share when we rank conferences that way. :)

Boys of Fall

Does anyone have any good insight into the recently released recruiting class at SJU, any of these guys expected to contribute this season?

I don't know about that guy but this kid could be fun to watch in Collegeville.  According to Frank R he's on the list of recruits.
