For anyone heading to beautiful Arlington on April 8 for the Hamm's Breweriana Auction, you might as well call ahead to Mackenthun & Wischnack Meats (952-467-2382) in Norwood Young America and order all the Stiftungsfest burger you want. If you are coming from the cities on highway 212 or 5 you will go right through NYA on your way to Arlington.

After the auction is over, head back to the New Yorker in Green Isle for a cold adult beverage.

Here's your daily link to smite TDT.

I thought you'd post his story about the trials and tribulations of flying first class.

Here's a time waster for everyone someone just sent me.  The object is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.  The person who sent it to me said if you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal and that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots, who are expected to go for at least 2 minutes.   I lasted over 19 seconds on my second try, so I think the 18 second threshold may be a bit low, and I expect the story about Air Force is urban legend, but it's still semi-addictive.  And of course, as with all things, performance is enhanced after a couple of beers.

But on a brighter note, I worked late last night and thought, even though it's a day or two early, I should open up a bottle of Finsleft Eelpout Ale when I got home. Mmmmmmmmmm-mmmm, that is some mighty tasty brew. Think I might have to start working on the next batch. Let me know when you can stop over for a glass.

Probably the only time I could stop over for a tasty Finsleft Eelpout Ale is tonight.  I think Judd and I are going out for a couple at Happy Hour.  Give me a buzz if you're up for a cold bevy or two after work.

Everybody must be working this afternoon! :D

O'Connell was staggering home with a small Paddy in his back pocket when he
slipped and fell heavily. Struggling to his feet, he felt something wet running
down his leg.
"Please, God," he implored, "let it be blood!"

Hard at work, or hardly working?

Duffman is home for the day.  Looks like we'll be enjoying more of Mother Nature's crap again tonight.  Maybe I can get TDT's mommy to buy me a first class ticket to Florida and get me a condo?

Put a kilt on that man and you've got KR after Johnnie/Tommie!!!
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Update on the deaf beauty queen story

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I'll pass on that KR, but only because it's way too early in the AM for such a joke. I normally get up after noon but set my alarm for 7:30 today. It's like Christmas but better!! Plus, my new laptop should be arriving sometime today...so it's the best of both worlds!

I haven't decided if I want to wear my authentic Artest jersey with my green spandex pants or my yellow Gonzaga t-shirt with black biker shorts...tough decisions all around. Suggestions anyone?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Hey Wonka:  I think you need to go with the Ron "Da Rapper" Artest jersey.  Fits your love for rap music and all things that go with it.   :o
