What is the probability that Stretch has overcome all/most of its issues?

I went to a few Stretch games today to see if they'd resolved their issues. SJU soccer was as glitchy as the last weekend's FB ... as were other live events. Meanwhile, non-Stretch events streamed fine.

I'm hoping Pat will unleash his huge reporting staff to find out if this will be resolved by Week 3.

I just checked Stretch's Facebook page and there is no mention of the problems.  Oh, youngsters that run Stretch... you should know the power of the Internet's social media.  You can't hide when you're an online platform.

Stretch is huge on Twitter. They do know the power of social media, and it ain't on Facebook any longer. :)

Great day to be a Cobber! Defense looked impressive. QB work was masterful. Great balance on offense. Don't like the 4 fumbles, but only lost one (even though it stifled a great drive that could have nailed the coffin pretty early in the game). Despite Sura's 91 yards, the Johnnie running game was kept in check (team total was 90, so what does that tell ya?).

Bethel up Oct 4? Should be a good one!

I'm looking forward to this weekend's game. I think the Johnnies will squeak out a victory and prevent the Cobbers from winning three consecutive games against the Johnnies--which hasn't happened since Eisenhower was President.

Forget blaming the D or backup QB, this loss is all on SagatagSam  ;)

I have broad shoulders. I can handle it.

I was sure you could. And I do like the guts of making the reference going into a tough game.

Here's the thrilling last quarter of Hawthorn's Preliminary Final against Port Adelaide.  Finals are tough and teams never quit.  It was a nail biting quarter.

I just returned from the northland prairie and I was hoping to see the archived game on video, but only audio available (at this point). From what I gather from the text messages from the game, game articles and the banter on the in-game posting the Johnnies did not appear crisp. Well, the sun came up toady and they play the Toms on Saturday. Put this in the rearview mirror & beat the Toms & all will be forgotten.

Let's go Johnnies!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

QB work was masterful.

You can say that again!  Neal is the real deal.  Impressive.  Great win by the Cobbs.  The Johnnie offense showed spurts of brilliance but struggled most of the day.  Same for the defense.  For the life of me, I can't remember the last time SJU had d-ends that consistently contained a QB.  I think Martin was missed.  Benson throws a nice ball, but he is short--troubles getting over the lines.

Are they as good as they have appeared thus far, or are the Falcons and Blugolds that poor?

Well, I guess my question got answered.  :-\

Hopefully SJU gets Martin back-but unless the D plays much better, it will be difficult. But, as we saw last year, not impossible.
I agree with 105-last week is gone, focus on the remaining games and continue to improve each week.

I'm not that sure about that. UWEC has lost to two Top 25 teams, and the Johnnies, by somewhat similar scores. UWRF won this week, albeit against an opponent who does not have a reputation of excellence. Still, this week could have been an aberration, with the Johnnies looking ahead to UST. That's my song, and I'll keep on singing it. (At least until next week)

Happy Tommie/Johnnie week.

It's gut check time for the Johnnies. Beating the Tommies two years in a row in St. Paul will be a step in the right direction. Let's go Johnnies!

BTW Bench, did you hear  the one about three Tommie girls walking into a bar?...... I'll stop right there because there will be enough real life underage drinking stories to go around on Saturday. I hope to see you there  8-)

Rumor has it Fasching was so disappointed with SJU's performance last week he's running the boys ragged. It's all very hush-hush, but apparently he has them on a new strength-training program called "Tipping Bennies." To be honest, I'm not sure how much this differs from the dating scene in Collegeville...maybe a heavier dose of Johnnie magic.
