Hey Mongo TDT here.

I saw a bit on the local news last night about a rather "notorious" promotion your own LV Wranglers conducted the other night.  Something along the lines of bright orange vests that said "Don't shoot me, I'm human".  Please elaborate for me it piqued my interest especially knowing my good buddy Mongo is an intern in Sin City for this squad...
Mongo-
Pay no attention to these ignorant freeloaders who think you work for the Wranglers. How about a Hamm's?

As I'm scoping the 10 day forecast, the weather on 25-27 seems to be getting worse.  We'll have first time fun no matter the weather but I'd like to see some sun.

Looks like upper 30's to low 40's and sunny. Pretty good for Minnesota in March, I'd say.

The basketball page has degenerated into discussing March Madness picks, so I'll post this funny here. I know you'll all enjoy it.

I love this job!
Hey Willy! Was that all about girls high school basketball?
Who cares?
:D

fins--all you had to write was "hamms" and you got me working on getting a vest.  we'll see what happens

WW--the best thing about covering women's hoops is that you don't have to pay attention that much!  It's slow enough that you can catch up with what happend in a heartbeat.  And why are you complaining?  You got to sit next to a hot chick. cripes.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

Speaking of hot chicks and a town other than Chaska, here is a story you may have a hard time believing. Trust me, it is true.

I made it down to beautiful Belle Plaine on Saturday night for the second day of celebrating St. Patrick's Day. The bars were rocking, as they always are. I walk into one of my favorite watering holes and see a table of babes together with the guys by the bar.

As I am walking by, one of the guys says, "Mike, Mike," and points me towards one of the women. I recognize her from St. Pat's Day last year. She waves me over. As I get close to her, she yells out, "You F-cker!" Everyone starts laughing and I begin to understand that this was said not in a negative sense, but in a positive manner, if you get my drift. :o

She then comes over by her husband, who is the guy that yelled out my name. She grabs me and puts her arm around me and sticks her tongue in my ear and swirls away. Once she is done with that, she proceeds to bend over right in front of me and starts slapping her ass.

I thought I was in dream world at this point. Can life in small town Minnesota really get this good? Being the saintly man that I am, I did not take any steps forward and simply laughed. She then invited me to go for a run with her Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. She knew how to cover all the bases with Johnnie Red. Being respectful of her marriage, Johnnie Red did not reach any base with this woman.

Getting the finger from an elementary student in Eden Prairie on Thursday, playfully hit on by a married woman in Belle Plaine. No adult beverages for the EP lad, way too many for the Belle Plaine babe.

Next social event for all your small town partygoers: German Day in Belle Plaine on Saturday, May 20. They will be having a professional `wrastling match on main street for this event. Hopefully Buck `Rock-n-Roll Zumhofe will be making an appearance.

Either by slamming Salem, girls basketball, or calling ROR and TDT beggars, the karma takes a serious hit.

tmerton- I knew it was only a matter of time before you'd smoke out Pat Coleman with your Salem inquiries. He's such a big Salem supporter, you'd think his grandma lived there. Oh yeah, he ends most posts with something  to the effect of, "Don't question my wisdom, if you were there last year, you'd know." We're all idiots and should know better than to raise a question for discussion. Those who seem to think that Salem is the only place that can draw a crowd forget to consider that other than a few hundred fans perhaps, the crowd at the Stagg Bowl is made up of fans of the 2 teams in the game who would travel almost anywhere to watch their team in the national championship. For every 1 you might lose if it was in a "less convenient" place than Salem, you'd probably pick up 2 or 3 who'd go somewhere where there's something to do, bring their golf clubs and stay a few days.

JR- You must've got to work a little earlier today, now that you only have to wash one ear.  ;)

Touchdown Tommy

Godfather,

That sounds like an erotic experience.  It appears your celebrity is far reaching these days.  Has the Belle Plaine babe had your famous burger?  :o Also, are there pictures of said event on Saturday night?  I would pay good money for something like that...

Chasing MILFs since '82...

Johnnie Red

TT, I doubt the Belle Plaine babe has had any of the Stiftungsfest burgers. You must remember that I do get the pork patties in Belle Plaine, so she has probably had a few of those.

No pictures that I am aware of. I did learn this morning that her spouse is a deputy sheriff. Good thing I was so well behaved. ;)

Yeah, the snow/rain that they had on Saturday and Sunday are now sitting on Monday and Tuesday, so it's looking better again.

PC did seem not to like the question very much, didn't he?

I don't really understand the karma stuff, though I've noticed I seem to take a hit every time a certain poster I've never addressed comes on the board.

Knightstalker

The only Karma hits I give on this board are for TDT as per the LLPP Inc and MIAC PP working agreement.

"In the end we will survive rather than perish not because we accumulate comfort and luxury but because we accumulate wisdom"  Colonel Jack Jacobs US Army (Ret).

Willy Wonka

I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Tmerton, +1 Karma for you. I like the golf game.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

tmerton--thanks for giving me something to do to cure the case of the Mondays.  golf + beer = less productivity = me not going postal.  You saved lives today.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job
