Congrats, SJU!  Back on top, where we should be.  I am so happy that this group of guys will get to experience the fun of playoff football.

Well, we won't have to sweat out that selection show  :P

Crazy game. Both D's were at a significant disadvantage with the footing, DB's especially were struggling to make breaks on balls.

Tough loss.

Crazy receiving numbers for Sonenfield and Marquardt. Way over 500 yds between the two of them, and over a half dozen TD's.

Augsburg will "Shock The Monkey" and beat Bethel tomorrow.  You heard it here first.  8-)

So...about that prediction.

SJU is outright MIAC Champs!

Man it was painful to watch Bethel play so hurt. Congrats to the Auggies as they win it in double overtime. I was at home on Stretch and at the end of the game when everybody and their cousin tried to watch I got kicked off and I missed the last Bethel score and try for two and the win.

Go Johnnies - represent the MIAC well!

What'd you think of the last Sonenfield 'TD' catch. Billy Morgan was the guy in the end zone going nuts. He said he was bobbling it all the way down. Both refs just looked like deer in the headlights...and then signaled TD. On replay, he gets one foot down, but not if he was bobbling it.

Not impressed with that crew today (not sour grapes, Bethel had their chances). The MIAC has some really good crews, and some really bad crews right now.  :-\

Tough way for the season to end. Injuries really caught up to us. A lot of freshman on the field for the D...but hopefully that pays off in more experience next year.

Good luck SJU in the playoffs (I think I just threw up in my mouth  ;) )

Congrats, SJU! From being seated on a plane at Dulles at 6 a.m., I'm now on one at National ... and headed to MSP via Denver.

Congrats to the Auggies for this huge win!
Shock the Monkey!
As far as why I knew this would happen I will just say this:
1) Ayrton Scott is a very good playmaker.
2) This was the Auggies Championship Game.
3) The Big Dogs came to play today and I knew they would.
4) See number 1.

Congrats to SJU!

But, it's better that cheering for the Tommies in the playoffs, that's full scale projectile vomit  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Well, I'm amazed by the August result. They came ready to spoil and they did.

Does that result plus UWP loss mean the Tommies get in?

Macalester is in with a victory today!  Oz, I was wondering the same thing.

Gotta believe that UWO gets UWP's "spot" with their win today and being a one (D3) loss team....

So who gets second and third place in the conference with equal 6-2 and 8-2 records? I'd guess St. Thomas with their head to head win against Concordia. Is that a safe assumption? And if it is, is there any chance they make it to the Pool C bids?
