Based on last weekend, I would rather have Parise between the pipes than Briggs. Goaltending is the key to the tournament.

True. I might prefer Parise based on more than last weekend. Briggs just has more horses.

Good one, Wnelly. Free beer and wings would've been the only salvation for a Choker fan in that game. I bet Dandy Don chewed some asses after that one.

Hope the SJU administration doesn't get any ideas from this!

Bulldogs football fans who traditionally start their tailgate festivities on Fridays will have to settle for a site off campus this fall. University of Georgia administrators on Thursday voted to prohibit tailgaters from campus before 7 a.m. on Saturdays and to limit parking spaces to one per vehicle. In addition, UGA will ban parking on sidewalks and grassy areas, and will tow vehicles left there by their owners.

It would be nice to see the hometown boys, Potulny and Irmen quite the Ralph crowd again, Like they did earlier in the year.

sumander: Sounds as if on football weekends this fall Georgia fans will have to park in Monroe and walk.

Any suggestions on how I can pass the next two hours at work?  This day is dragging on.  Thankfully, I will be on the beach in Cozumel at this time tomorrow ;D  I doubt if they have Hamm's in Mexico, but I'll check it out.

If they catch you drinking Hamms in Mexico they'll likely send you back to the land of pasty white people.

That does, however, remind me of the following (which will make sense only if you remember the Gallo ads for their Bartles and James wine cooler [of happy memory, thank goodness]).  Did you know that Gallo marketed Bartles and James in Mexico?  They had to change the name, though; they called it Dos Okies.

Don't drink the water.

tmerton, I hope you have a fine time in MN and that you and your son enjoy SJU!

Duff, Go back and find tmerton's link to beer golf. After a round of that go to the meuller tourney site and comlete that. Pretty soon it will be the cocktail hour and you will be set!

Doesn't matter if they have  Hamms in Mexico, as long as your toes are in the sand and the beer is cold life is good.

I know I'm going to have a good time (meeting up with Fins tomorrow and then John and Gary on Sunday); the important part is for #2 son to like it.  I suspect he will though.

Whoa Nelly

Congratulations to the Star Tribune on prematurely printing the story of Dan Monson's departure...kind of like the first time a Bethel kid has a girl in his dorm room...

They couldn't ever ban this kind of good, clean fun.

Kinda makes you thirsty just looking at it, doesn't it?

Have a bien viaje, Duff! Saw Dusty from your town at the La last Friday and HE was going to Cozumel. Maybe you'll pass at the airport.

Too bad you're not here tonight tmerton, or you could take in that most sacred of all Stearns County lenten traditions, the Friday night fish fry. Tonight I'll go stand in line at the Eagles Club, get my belly full of fish, have a few brews and pull a few tabs.

DuffMan

Just seeing a picture of the Pace Arrow warms my heart.
Dusty at the La?  Let me guess, he was with Wooderson ;D
