Fins- where's the fry tonite?  I'm headin to St. Cloud and I may have to make a detour.
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Just seeing a picture of the Pace Arrow warms my heart.
Skip the trip, just stay here and stare at your computer. ;)

Eagles Club tonight. Best in town.
It's no Melvin's but the beer is cheaper!

Here's a close-up, Duff. This oughta warm you some more...

I hope Laker doesn't see this. I think I see someone holding a beer.  :o

Hey, I just earned another star and went "All-Conference"

Since that calls for a beer, I am outta here!

Too bad you're not here tonight tmerton, or you could take in that most sacred of all Stearns County lenten traditions, the Friday night fish fry. Tonight I'll go stand in line at the Eagles Club, get my belly full of fish, have a few brews and pull a few tabs.

If it weren't for the schedule of this Fly In Weekend we would have come today and been around for the Fish Fry.  For some reason, though, they run this thing from Sat. pm to Monday pm.  Seems a bit strange to me.

Fins, how drunk are you?  I'm not in that picture ???

Hey Fins, the Sioux are still alive-and Minny-wow :o-what a loss. Kinda like if SJU would have lost to Monmouth in the playoffs. Maybe the Harrington family was just snake bit this year?

sumander

The Golden Chokers looked like they were playing not to lose!! In my opimion the Sioux easily looked like the best team of the four! I think they will rout Holy Cross tonight.

It will be interesting to see how many of the Gophers come back. I would think this would leave a bad taste in a lot of mouths! They certainly have some unfinished business.

Give the rocket scientist and brain surgeons from H.C. a lot of credit. They were not intimidated by the big bad Gophers!
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

How drunk are you? It's a close up of the RV, not you. I don't think I even have any photos with you in them, since I took none of the shotgunning and cameras aren't allowed by the AJ Indoor.

Zip/Sumander-
Yeah, the mighty Chokers really choked. I don't think they've stopped reeling yet from that pound-down by the Huskies last week. Wonder what the payout is on picking Holy Cross?
Smart money's on Hakstol and the Sioux to run the table. Should be a raucous affair with BU vs. BC today, huh? And how 'bout them Beavers?

Just like my days as a student at SJU. My whole weekend was planned around Sunday Mass.  :D

Fins, I will bet about two weeks ago you could have got some really good odds on the Sioux taking the title. I agree with you though, They are looking awfully tough!

U89 grew up in Worcester, MA.....home of the Holy Cross Crusaders.....how in the F' did Holy Cross beat Minny??  ESPN is talking about this being one of the biggest upsets is ALL of NCAA, DI sports history.

For the record, New England has the best DI/NCAA hockey......it's science!!

U89, A couple of things contributed to H.C. beating the Rodents. Our goaltender decided to have a crisis in confidence the last three games of the year and The boys have no "stones". They were a pretty hockey team, not a gritty one. Work ethic was suspect at the begining of the year and again at the end of the year!

To refute your statement on New England having the best Dl hockey all we have to do is look at last years Frozen Four participants! All  WCHA schools.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the last 4 National Champions have come from the WCHA as well. Do I need to go further?? ;D ;D
