The scary part about the Sioux is how young they are! They play 8 or 9 freshmen. At least three are true frosh( Toews, Lee, Oshie). They also got the #1 player out of Wisc coming in next year. He chose UND over UM and UW!

UW got all they wanted from Cornell last night. I thinkwe will have an all WCHA title game. Mark it down, you read it here first.

Badgers and the Sioux have the two hottest goalies in the tourney.

Hey SUmander, why don't you pick and obvious championship game  :D haha just jerking your chain.  I think a WIS v. UND final is more than likely but UND will have their hands full. BC has outscored opponents 10-0 in two games. COuld be a matchup of two tough goalies.

I have my inside sources working on the scouting report for this match up. I will let you know what I find out.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

I think the scouting report will say UND should win but....the  Chokers should have beat Holy Cross on paper and thats why they play the games.

After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

I am. If only it would've been that simple.

Reminds me of the guy who asked his wife what she wanted for Christmas. "A divorce!" she says. The guy responds, "I wasn't thinking of spending quite that much."
:D

They say there's a woman for every man. I guess I've had 2 of somebody elses.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Fins-I will give you an on site report of the Sioux, as I am going to the games in Milwaukee. I do hate being surrounded by Wisco fans, though-go Black Bears!

Sounds good! Should be a fun weekend. Can you still go to Mader's and sing "Schnitzelbank"?

Camp Leinie was a good time.  I drank an extensive amount of free Leinie's, although the town of Chippewa Falls itself is pretty sucktastic.  On Friday night we went to this bar called Shady Pine...it definitely was pretty shady.  The ratio of male to female in the entire town was approximately 4.5  billion to 1...and that one wasn't too pretty.

fins-  Any eelpout ale left?
Heaven isn't too far away,
Closer to it every day

The ale is going fast but I'm saving some for you. Had tmerton and the lovely Mrs. tmerton over for a tasting on Saturday night. Last I heard, they lived through it. Nice folks-hope to have them be regulars at the Stift..ies this fall.
So did you get a merit badge? Do you end the night around a campfire, singing kumbaya and dunking s'mores in Leinies?
Bad M:F ratio though.
Watched some of Ron White's "You can't fix Stupid" last night. He had this bit about being at some military base doing a show and there was a really drunk woman up front. After he commented about the 40,000 troops there, she yells out' "And none of them know how to f*** worth a damn." To which he responds, "Well gee lady, you'd thing after about 39 thousand or so you might get to the point where you'd ask yourself, "Maybe it's me?"

KiltedRat returns from vacation and does not even duck into the Liberty League Board to say, "Honey, I'm home..."  We are truly hurt, but K to all here in the MIAC all the same.

KR knows little about the subjects at hand in the LL

1. Indy car racing (went to a race once, but was drunk by the start and don't remember much besides the 7 day sunburn and Level 3 Hangover)

2.  Real world (KR's mom didn't allow MTV in the house when Real World first started as such, KR never got into it)

3.  Soprano's (KR is not italian and has never had HBO)

4.  Tyra Banks show (KR watched it one day, found it much more tolerable when the mute function was used.)

I'm currently working on a post of reflections made while on Vacation for the LL.

Fins,

Yes, blood is slowly sneaking back into my MaiTai stream, rain is a lot less exciting in Des Moines when it is 40 degrees in Iowa and you're sober than when it is 78 degrees and you're having Pina Colada races with your Father-in-law. Current record: a blender full of Pina Coladas down in 1 min 5 seconds with a brain feeze that lasted 6 minutes.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

frankrichard-

Around the EC-Chippewa area, the place to go for bar-hopping is Water Street(for the younger crowd), near UWEC.  Although not as good as it could be, the M/F ratio is much better on Water Street than it is someplace in Chippewa.  It helps that there are twice as many females that go to the university than males.

Frank - Hope you downed a number of Leinie's Reds while thinking of Stiftungsfest celebrations.

Fins - +1 for that joke about the woman and 40000 troops.  If you don't mind save one Eelpout ale for me.  I've read so many posts about them that my mouth is salivating just thinking about how good they must be.

I can't wait for football and more celebrations.  Some summer golf outings need to be on the agenda.

Go Johnnies!!!
