I've told my kids a few times that they're lucky God makes us love them and the police provide a backup just in case, because otherwise they would have ended up dead a long time ago.

Alternative parenting methods...
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

I see that boys can now play girls' sport and shower with the girls in Minnesota as long as they feel like a girl.

I can imagine the scene before JJR:

"I'm sorry, you honor.  I thought we could use the girls' shower if we feel a girl, not feel like a girl."

I was a public HS kid, and I could never have seen myself considering it, but this direction would make me think about sending my daughter to a private, religion based school, as they are exempt from this stuff.

I apparently slept through some crying the first two nights and am hopeful this trend will continue.  Maybe instead of ear plugs I will be given earphones hooked up to the baby monitor at high volumes.

When my kids were babies I once listened laying in bed via baby monitor to my sister-in-law bad mouthing me to my wife in the living room for about 10 minutes. She obviously didn't realize how sensitive the monitor was. (b*tch)  :-X   ;)

My wife though it hilarious the next day when I told her.

My wife and I had 4 kids in 38 months.  I do not recommend this to anyone.  Last two are twins.  MTV and VH1 were relatively new at the time.

I had just got my first cup of coffee so wasn't completely awake when I read your post. You mentioned that the last two were twins and reading the next sentence I guess I was thinking you were still talking about your first two kids. My first reaction was - who in the world names their kids MTV and VH1?  Then I read the next sentence and finally figured it out.  ;D Thought I would pass this along for a chuckle on a Friday morning.

I would not be a bit surprised if one or two celebrities had at least considered it.

Me either - I guess I should have qualified it saying who in the 'normal' world - not that everyone on here is normal.  ;)

Just finished Triple Take this week here: http://www.d3blogs.com/d3football/category/triple-take/

I'm really surprised nobody picked any "upsets" this week. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm kind of gunning for Wartburg to pull an upset - and that was before the distraction of the Warhawks losing their coach to D1 UB.

I'm also somewhat surprised that none of the three prognosticators picked Widener, the home and higher seeded team over the Wildcats of Linfield.

I'm with them on the Mount - JC game - I think Mount doubles whatever JC throws up on the score board.

While Hobart will be Wesley's best D3 team they see so far this year, it'll be between Wesley and Mount to see who posts more points this weekend.

If Pat, Keith and Ryan are all correct it's going to be somewhat of a let-down this weekend as a fan because there won't be any "nail-biters". I hope they're wrong.  ;D

Go Knights! (until next year of course, when we all become Royals fans)

I hope we do get some nail-biters, regardless if the outcomes come out as predicted. I think it would be good for those losing teams and for DIII overall and would somewhat improve the parity in my eyes. Also, for other teams around the country, it would give them more confidence when facing the "Powerhouses of DIII."

There's going to be some sloppy/slippery games, as only Whitewater has fair skies forecast for tomorrow.

This doesn't say there will be no nail-biters. All three of us have the UWW/Wartburg game being a one-score game.

Well, I suppose if you average the three differences - Keith has 8 points, Ryan has 10 points and you have a 4 point spread = 22 points divided by 3 and you get 7. 333 - so it's a one score + game - and the closest one of the weekend using the same "logic".

The weather may be the biggest factor in the three Eastern Time Zone games - we'll see.

I'm a bit confused - you say you are really surprised nobody picked any 'upsets' but then you say that your surprised no one picked Widener over Linfield. Since Widener is a higher seed, wouldn't that be considered an 'upset'?
