Not really.

It is possible Gary is from Hollywood.  It is only about 6 miles from Winstead, where he attended high school.

Boys of Fall

I wonder if Gary and Johnnies will extend halftime this year to pay homage to the 2014 MIAC coach of the year, or does that only happen down at the corner of Cretin and Summit?

Retired Old Rat

My only comment about Caruso is that I'm wondering if he will keep his string of losing one more game than the previous year intact in 2015:

2014  3 loses
2013  2 loses
2012  1 loss

Good chance it will be a 4 loss 2015.

SEE. HUGE indictment of his character IMO. Probably too busy eating sushi on his surfboard with Brad Pitt to care about his players. All flash and no substance in Collegeville it seems. He'll be on the first Gulfstream to LA when the Occidental job opens up.

Fasching's Limo was sited, while promoting his program...he and his PR guy stopped off to get a local recruit, that was working the Slurpee machine!   ;D  :o

Sited ... or sighted?
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Here's a picture of UST Coach Glenn Caruso giving a huge check to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital:

You know who's not in the picture? You guessed it. Hollywood Fasching. What does Hollywood Fasching have against Children's Hospitals?

How much is U$T paying him?  I mean if he can give a check that big!  WOW!!!

Is it Tommie / Johnnie week already?  ;D

I hope not.
There are some very funny posts in this thread and I'm hoping it continues for a long time.

As I was quickly browsing the interwebs I came across this story on the life Tommy Morrison, who played Tommy Gunn in Rocky V.  Tragic story.  I new he had been diagnosed with AIDS and was a dud fighter, but I didn't know/remember that he had been world champ for one fight after beating Foreman.

Amyway, there is not good spots in this story.  It's a character arc from middling to horrible.

BTW, Tommies suck.

Fasching is such a prima donna, going on television and promoting his program like some sort of hot shot. Look out everyone, it's hot shot Hollywood Gary coming through.

What you failed to include in your attempt to tear down the greatest football coach SJU has seen (since the guy that proceeded him of course) is what the TV cameras are not capturing is all the good Gary does for the kids. Yea, the kids, that's what it's all about. The kids, and also saving kittens stuck in a tree. Frightened kittens stuck in a tree and the kids, that's what it's all about for Gary. Football is such a small part of his incredibly well rounded life. Service, to all of mankind... and the kids and saving frightened kittens stuck in a tree. It's not about some dopey TV show that is broadcast from Alexandria (Minnesota, not Virginia or Egypt...we're talking about the grandaddy of them all, the one in Minnesota, Douglas County)  in your futile attempt to tear down all that is decent and good in D3 Football, take a look at the entire body of work mister and before you go to sleep tonight and every night from this point forward get down and thank the Big Man upstairs that you have had the opportunity to walk on the same football field (during pre-game and post-game) as the great and humble featured guest of the Coach Gary Fasching/ SJU Football Show on Kool-TV.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I'm interested to see the result of the Wartburg/Bethel matchup this weekend.  I'm also interested in the Concordia/UW-EC game.  Is U$T that good, or is UW-EC that bad?  U$T should roll over UW-LAX, and SJU should roll over BV.  The outcome of the Hamline/Mac game should tell us something about Mac, too.

A tradition unrivaled...
