SUMMIT!!!!!

Willy-
You might want to mention to the Speaker that, in addition to the Twins being free to go anywhere they may want after this season, Selig & Company can contract up to two teams after this season at their discretion.

It's in the CBA that if the owners give the player's union notice on or by July 1, 2006 as to which team or teams they plan to contract for 2007, the union will accept said contraction without argument/lawsuit.

Without a stadium deal, I'd say the twins & Tampa bay will be contracted and the Marlins will be sold to a group including our good friend Red McCombs and moved to San Antonio.
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Do you think Vegas would be up for a baseball franchise?  I wonder which professional sport they will attract first.

I'm envisioning video poker on all stadium/arena seats - no matter what the sport.

With this being a re-election year, Sviggum said he expects those involved to pussyfoot around the subject matter. Clearly, it's a very emotional issue and taking a political stance on it will get some people very PO'd no matter which side they take. Better not to take one then, right?  ::)

Yes, and Sviggy has really gone out on a limb on this himself and taken a leadership role as one in his position would be expected to.  No pussyfooting political posturing for our guy Sviggy.

It is true that they're the same stuff, but the dosing in Warfarin is a bit more controlled... and it doesn't make your teeth green which is the real reason docs don't give pts d-con ;)

Welcome back Ritz, clots can be a helluva health hazard, good to hear your doing well!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Ah, so when the Senate tabled the bill last year, refusing to even discuss it, that was Sviggy's fault huh?  ::)

Stick to your day job - protecting your daughters from thugs like TDT :)
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Whew, I was beginning to the that the Sartell connection to SJU was going to get blanked this year.   This Yunek is a pretty solid player.  Also, interesting that SJU will have a mini-Wooderson on the sidelines next year ;D

ALABAMA VASECTOMY

After their 11th child, an Alabama couple decided that was enough as they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that could fix the problem but that it was expensive.

"A less costly alternative," said the doctor, "is to go home, get a cherry bomb (fireworks are legal in Alabama), light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to your ear and count to 10"

The Alabamian said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me."

"Trust me," said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count...

"1"

"2"

"3"

"4"

"5"

At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs and resumed counting on his other hand.

This procedure also works in Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Florida, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Louisiana.

Fellow posters, have no fear, I have returned alive and well from beautiful Cozumel.  The trip was wonderful.  What a great place.

I dunno, Duff, I keep thinking that Thursday was pretty early to return.  Are you sure you weren't deported?

You missed a sunny day last Sunday.

There has been a steady stream of Sartell players heading to Collegeville in recent seasons and Yunek said that played a role in his decision as well.
"I think they've seen good things from Sartell players in the past and I'd like to be a part of that tradition too," Yunek said.

Yeah, I heard that there was this Herbst kid, and that Pantzke kid was pretty good....Wasn't there also this "Hack" d-Lineman from Sartell?  The one who carried Jimmy G's computer and gym bag for 4 years to get a chance to play a little??
