I can't believe I got up at 5am to watch the last hour. Lot's of fun and makes me proud to be a Bennie...but now I need a nap! 8-)

Next Saturday I am going to have to get up even earlier (and miss the Hamline game). I will be hanging out with crazy folks in the woods!! I am volunteering at a 50k trail run! Runners will be greeted by my smiling face at registration! ;D

The line, on both sides, has been dominated.

14-35, UST.  A stomp.  Dang.

Wow - I sure didn't expect a monkey stomp, especially after the halftime score of 7-7. Did SJU's line just wear down in the second half?

Sort of glad I was only able to follow this ass-kicking on Twitter. Sounded like Johnnies were lucky it was 7-7 at halftime so seems like Tommies were just better all day. That RB must be a stud.

No, I think the game was even until the half. The Johnnies weren't moving the ball on the ground but it was still a contest.  The Tommies came out in the third quarter, the Championship Quarter they call it here, and executed with speed and precision.  They outplayed the Johnnies in the trenches, got some swagger and closed it out from there.

We have a BINGO Oz. UST clearly controlled both sides of the ball.

Also, someone mentioned after the first game vs. Dubuque that SJU has a "work in progress" at QB in a 4 yr. starter. Alex Kofed was the last "play maker" QB at SJU. SJU needs to recruit and develop QBs that are bigger than life and can back it up on the field like Ramler and Linneman of years gone by.

Well, now the Johnnies need to win out and hope they can sneak into the playoffs through the back door.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Solid game by the Tommies. SJU couldn't sustain much on offense & the defense eventually wore down. UST has three pretty good backs - especially the transfer. Credit to their coaching staff for not getting cute & just letting their guys make plays. Well, I guess some cuteness started w/ :03 left in the game & continued about an hour after the game.

Travel information for this Saturday in Collegeville has been released.  One item that caught my eye is the following:   http://www.gojohnnies.com/news/2015/9/21/FOOTBALL_0921153301.aspx
- No unsanctioned buses will be allowed on campus.

I guess that means that party busses loaded with intoxicated U$T coeds will not be allowed on campus.
I lost count after 25 or so party buses.  Maybe they all paid an extra fee to become "sanctioned"?

I was at the BU Carleton game. My defensive game ball would go to Dawson Brown, a freshman DE or Outside LB who blocked two punts today. One bounced into the end zone and was covered for a TD - not sure who got the credit for smothering that one. The second one put Bethel inside the 20, maybe the 15 - someone will have to look at tape. Then they scored a couple of plays later. Nice break-out game for the youngster. He also had some nice tackles, and at least one for a loss, later in the game.

Sounds like a low rent move.
