That's fantastic.  Caruso = Hitler.  Gotta love the Gentlemen Johns; they never cease to amaze.  If Caruso is Hitler, in your analogy, who is Gagliardi? Neville Chamberlin? A fool who couldn't see the "evil" power rising to the southeast and did nothing to stop it?

So silly, guys, just so silly.

A bloke walks into a brothel and says, "I'm a bit kinky, how much for total humiliation?"

The madam replies "$100".

"wow, ok, what do I get for that?" the man asks.

"A Tommie hat and t-shirt."
Good stuff Oz. I'm stealing it for Twitter.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone.  TOM's too.  Safe travels.  :-*

I'm glad that the Tommies understand comparison (or not). If you make a claim based upon the actions of a certain person in order to prove a point, highlighting a similar action by a person who is not the paragon of virtue, does not compare those two people. It is made to poke holes in the initial ARGUEMENT. GET IT?

;D

Now you're just showing off with your fancy-pants UST spelling.

Has anyone read the new Mitch Rapp book?

Interested to hear any reviews on how it compares, as I plan to read it but haven't yet.

Retagent is about telling, not spelling.

Plus, no one was ACTUALLY comparing Caruso to Hitler GUYS, just "highlighting a similar action by a person who is not a paragon of virtue." It just so happens that person killed 6 million Jews, pretty much the go to when talking about people who are not paragons of virtue. I mean, OzJohnnie could have gone with another football coach that rubs him the wrong way, but, you can't pass up an opportunity to compare a guy who coaches your rival Division III football team to Hitler, I mean, this game is EXACTLY LIKE WAR. Not just any war, WWII, you guys. I mean, to not compare your opponent to at least one dictator of an axis power would be losing perspective. Now, what exactly the "similar action" Caruso and this person who is not a paragon of virtue have in common has yet to be determined, but my guess it's the picture in front of the Arc de Triumph, pretty much on par with a benign photo taken an hour after the game on the SJ1 logo. Exactly the same thing IMO.

I mean, has the whole world gone crazy? Just a bunch of babies in the safe space if we can't go around arbitrarily comparing things people do to things Hitler would do, IMO.

Fins- will you be participating in the Muzzleloader season? I'm skipping the opener on Saturday to witness Johnnie-Tommie Part Two
I will hunt Sunday and into next week. Zone 219 just south of your homestead.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Mr.MIAC

I just figured out why SJ2 fans get so frustrated when we talk about the UST F.A.M.I.L.Y. Technically speaking, everyone in Stearns County are related so talking about one's family is not really a thing. Either the concept doesn't compute for those from Collegeville or else they must think we're putting on airs...

Try not to be so sensitive. You'll get a rash.

I do enough dumb things already. I don't need help with clumsy attempts at claiming more. Plus, you'll convince me that UST never taught English comprehension, being that the meaning of what I typed is the exact opposite of what you apparently understood.

I think comparing Caruso to TDT might be a better comparison! No one has killed anyone (that we know of), but they both have the ability to irritate the hell out of folks and be classless! 8-) But, if you actually know them, they both have their redeeming qualities. ;D

Congratulations to all of the players and coaches who received awards this year.

Yeah, Scott did well.  Extremely consistent and excellent every year of college ball.
