After reading that severe display of UST homerism miac952, I don't think you are training to be an SID you are training to be Sid:

Ironic that it is Sid's actual birthday. DOB 3-15-1920  :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Oh Canada...

I think Coach Fasching should also plan a team trip to the ancestral homeland of South Germany and Austria.

But that would be two international trips and that's not permitted.  Certainly no one would be so bold as to flaunt rules everyone has agreed to.

Mr.MIAC

It looks like the fine people of DC will be rooting for an AFL expansion team starting in 2017.

The DC government, the federal government, and the Washington Post refuse to use the "Redskins" nickname and instead refer to our NFL team as "the Washington football club." I wonder what they're going to do when we have two football teams in town.

A very solid winter sports season for UST:

Blah, blah, blah
who cares?
Blah, blah blaaah

And girls always told me that size didn't matter.  I always knew that was BS!!!   ;D

I think we've identified SJU's new motto: Non Materiae Magnitudine.

Speaking of size and Latin, reminds me of a limerick told in Remedies class by one of my faves, Prof. Gordon Johnson:

There once was a lawyer named Rex,
Who had a peculiar perversion for sex.
When arrested for exposure,
He said with composure,
"De minimis non curat lex."

I don't have time to translate it, you Tommies will have to Google that.

Tommie men's hoops in the D3 title game tonight. Do we think all of the other men's head coaches are wanting them to bring home the championship?

SUMMIT!!!!!

ST THOMAS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

The footy season opens on this early Easter Monday for Hawthorn with our traditional Easter clash against Geelong.  All five members of the Oz family are going to the game dressed in our divided colors.  It's fortunate in one sense that Easter is so early this year because normally Mrs Oz loses interest in the football by about round 3.

Hawthorn will be challenged early this year with six changes to our premiership side out of 22 players.  We've lost two players to retirement, traded one away and then have had two players brake wrists this pre-season and one injure a posterior cruciate ligament. That's 18 Grand Final victories missing from the side with those six players but I still think we can handle the Cats.

Xavier Ray, RB, Minnehaha Academy will be attending Augsburg and playing football this fall:

Looks like he could replace Tyrell Martin in the backfield with Tiras Bolton as the counter punch. I like that. A few potential QB's are coming in so we might not see a drastic drop off this year.

Crazy weather. I've got about 8 inches of snow here in western Wiscy, and I bet Duffman's lawn is pretty dry.

Dry and green in Maple Grove, but I saw a lot of cars heading north after work that were covered in snow.
