Is anyone planning on making the weekend road trip to Regina, Saskatchewan  ???

Everytime I see the name Regina it reminds of a Seinfeld episode about a Delorean.

Does it look like anyone from D3 will be selected today?  I read the below article about Aaron Karlen out of UW-SP, sounds like he's going to go undrafted.

http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/story/sports/nfl/2016/04/27/aaron-karlen-hoping-nfl-call/83563754/

Charlie Dowdle signed as a free agent today with the Bears.  Very happy for him and the opportunity.

Here's a short piece from TommieMedia: http://www.tommiemedia.com/featured-news/tommie-tight-end-signs-as-free-agent-with-chicago-bears/

Chicago...great place for a pass catching tight end to play when the team has gone through about 30 QB's in 30 years...but I guess good luck to him.

While the bear has historically gone through QBs often Cutler, in particular, has been the starter since the 2009 season.  And I can tell you that all of us PACKERS fans really like it that way.  A bigger problem catching passes from him is that he tends to throw them to players wearing a different uniform averaging a tad over 20 INTs a season.

I doubt you will remember the game though.

Oz,
Looking at the logo on those steins, they are from the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. I was sitting in the Hofbrau, upstairs having dinner and beers a couple years ago. The thing that impressed me were the beer maids. They are absolutely amazing in the fact that they can handle 8-12 steins and never spill a drop.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I've never done Oktoberfest in Germany but would love to give it a go. I'd have to go to the section for over-the-hill duffers. I doubt it would be as much fun as the kids were having in the other tent.

Did Tusler participate in the spring practices?  He was injured at the end of last season and there was a question as to whether he had left the team or not.  Bloom looked good as a freshman last year, but with Klitzke now graduated this might have been the year for Tusler to take over in the backfield, and on special teams for sure.

You Johnnie fans might appreciate Griffin Neal tipping his hat to a St. John's connection to get him where he is now.

I've not heard anything about that...hope he's back, he's a tremendous talent for sure, but if his head / heart aren't in the right place for the team, maybe it's for the better if he doesn't return.

Trey Anderson's injury / recovery will also be a big factor for BU.

Now that the season is just a little over 4 months away, I'm already looking forward to watching Perra - Erdman (sp?) battles...have to think UST will have an easier path this season with Roberts back to carry the load, but beyond next year will be fun to watch.  Have we ever seen two D1 to D3 transfers playing QB in the MIAC at the same time?

There has been no "coronation" at SJU and if the Red-White game last week showed anything, there are a couple QBs still in the mix for the job vacated by Martin. I have no idea about UST.

I agree with 105 on this.  I'll give Erdmann the fact that he's only been in the program a few months, but Alvord and Miedtke both looked very capable to me, and altho I wasn't that impressed with Gunnar Anderson, I did leave before the final drive when he led the white team down the field for the winning score.  So, based on Saturday, you would think it's still wide open.

Erdmann for President!  :D
I don't think he has reached the age of 35,however, some previous SJU QBs played their final year of eligibility approaching the minimum age to be elected POTUS.... :o
