This is what I saw on the SJU's sideline...look at all the SJU coaches beating that poor Tommie! :o ;D

It that was shade, that was about as subtle as it gets.

How often do they repost broadcasts? I don't follow the account so I can't say. I would guess not often. Given the conversation on this board of what the SJU broadcast sounded like, in regards to the opposite sideline, I'll continue to read in to the larger message. UST SID guy clearly reads these boards so it's (bout of) within the realm of possibility that others associated w/ the program do as well and caught some of the discussion related to the broadcast. So, hello Gene, hello Glenn.

I'm sure an assistant runs the team Twitter account, and I would be surprised if Gene really *reads* the boards. You don't have to read the board to write a joke about trolling!

I suppose I should say, though -- I would agree that the tweet is probably a veiled response to the tweet linked here earlier. :)

A few years back during a face to face with GC he quoted a line from D3boards.com to me verbatim.  Something about "locker room wars" back when U$T was updating their facilities.

From Frank's SCTimes blog:
"St. John's quarterback Jackson Erdmann has not practiced this week and head coach Gary Fasching said he will be a game-time decision for the Johnnies' MIAC matchup at Bethel Saturday."

i wonder that happened?

Mr.MIAC

Forget the locker room wars. Here's something to celebrate or critique, depending on your persuasion. UST just announced that it's planning a $300 million expansion of its St. Paul campus. I suppose we should expect howls from some other MIAC schools.

My vote is for more cherry. The locker rooms were a good start, but for consistency's sake let's go with more cherry. In short, cherry.

Um, what?!?  I was staying away to let the heat go down a little but this pulled me back.

I read that same article last night. Thought it mentioned concussion. I didn't see when that happened during the game last week. I hope he recovers quick. He was fun to watch and should be solid for y'all for a long time.

Pure speculation, but he took a solid shot on one of those sacks from an unblocked blitzer, the one where the ball almost came out.

My sentiments regarding his recovery are the same. I was really looking forward to what he could do to Bethel's secondary tomorrow.

What's the word on Bethel these days?  I know DBQ hung 70 on them in week one, but is that a real indicator of what they will be for the rest of the season?

It seems like they haven't had much of a problem scoring points (they scored 53, 34, and 44 so far with a season low of 13 against Concordia). Is it just that the 2016 version of the Royals have no defense?

I hope this week isn't a trap game/Johnnie-Tommie hangover for the Johnnies.

Unfortunately, I don't think you Johnnie backers have too much to worry about tomorrow.  The defense has improved over week 1, so I don't think SJU will be putting up 90, as Duffman suggested, but skilled passers can still really move the ball effectively on them.  Even if it is a slightly injured Erdmann, or whoever QB2 is for SJU, I think they'll be able to score effectively.

My expectation for score would be somewhere in the range of 45 - 17, though that would require a field goal on Bethel's part, so I'm really putting myself out there.  45-20 might be more realistic, as three TD's, one with a missed PAT is probably more likely.

Should be pretty good weather for those in attendance, though I will not be, as a home improvement project that is butting up against the pending arrival of child #2 is taking priority.

I'd bet Caruso runs the account, without a doubt.
