With two MIAC teams in the tourney, the lack of chatter is unsettling. :(  How am I supposed to bide my time before a 9:00 a.m. meeting?
Perhaps you could go off on a rant about CSB/SJU are closed today (Winter storm Argo) and tell us stories about how these students are a bunch of candy bottoms and how in your day......  8-)
When I was a student we never got a day off. Upperclassmen all lived in St. Mary's Hall. We had to WALK the entire 20 yards to class and 20 back and it was uphill both ways - so there!  ;D.      Candy bottoms!!!

The Four Yorkshiremen. It never grows old.

I surrender  :)

Understood. The thing is that I've heard conflicting reports on that since the announcement. Can anyone here help clarify?

A different article that I read last night mentioned that they can play intramurals and club sports but made no mention of NCAA sports.  My gut tells me that they could not participate in NCAA D3 sports.

You guys are really into this JC thing. "That" is unsettling.

Go Johnnie.

In the words of 3-Time MIAC Pickem' Champion Finsleft, "There is no such thing as bad weather, there are just poor clothing choices". As we are readying to leave this morning, I have to remind Mrs. 105 that those "cute boots" don't have anywhere near the thermal lining as the Sorels, so stop worrying about fashion and pack what is going to keep you warm.  ::)

Go Johnnies!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I guess I always just figured SJCC WAS the local Catholic junior college.

DustySJU

That was low.

It's called St. John's Prep and you can actually get your AP credits there too.

Well said Johnnie Fan.

My plan for the day was to skip hockey and head to Collegeville however the frosh was elevated to starting status along with the sophomore.

I also just heard rink 1 is down this morning. Maybe a cancelation?

Developing......

Cold day with a light breeze in Collegeville.  Could be a challenge to a team that wants to air the ball out.  Whose checking the balls for air pressure?   ???

How has the SJU ground game looked lately? I know Krueger had the one big game, but other than that, it seems like y'all have 8 guys all with 3-8 carries and nobody gets enough to get into a rhythm? Maybe my observations are off. Also helps to be up big with an intimidating defense and able to spread the rock around.

That, and then my worry is that the weather takes the quickness advantage away from the Johnnies.  And to some degree the home field advantage.  We'll see.  UWP will be a tough opponent.  Low scoring defensive game?

Good Luck to SJU and UST today. I will try to check the scores from TCF Bank while at the Gophers/Northwestern game.
