Anybody else without ESPN in their home that has recommendations on where to watch the games tomorrow?

Even if you don't have ESPN television, you may have ESPN3 streaming access through your internet provider. I'd click one of the broadcast links on our schedule and walk through the process.

Just spoke with another Johnnie alum that lives here in Brookings. He just purchased 40 tickets for his family and some classmates to the Johnnie-Tommie Game at Target Field.

So what's the thought on having a D3boards.com pre-game somewhere nearby Target Field? Kieran's, Gluek's, and a number of other festive places are located within easy walking distance.

In keeping with the Johnnie/Tommie theme it seems Fulton's Taproom would be the natural place for this.

Fulton's Taproom looks like a great option. I see that you can request space rental via their website. However, given Fulton's central location and the SJU affiliation, it seems likely they might be interested in scheduling a pre-game event open to the public. I think that would be the way to go for a D3boards.com pre-game meet up. Does anyone have a good contact at the place?

Looks like it doesn't open until noon on Saturdays though

My guess is they will open a couple hours early that day.

A shame but not a surprise that the first semi ends on a mind boggling call by the officials. It didn't change the outcome but it did suck.

The ref call was a little odd but isn't it also odd that if they didn't make the call, JCU would have run the previous play (where they downed the ball) with no time coming off the clock?

JC made a first down on about the O45 and ran forward to spike the ball with :16 left on the clock.  The ref said the down/spike doesn't count because the chain was still being moved. Everyone was standing around trying to figure out what that even meant and the ref starts the clock again. A quick scramble and JC spike the ball again now with only :12 seconds left. In the confusion over what was happening, JC give up a sack and the receivers couldn't get back in time to stop the clock again.  It was strange.

It didn't change the outcome because JC would only have one more thrown to the end zone and OWU were defending deep very well. But it was a little amateur hour for international TV.

I didnt get UWO using the Wildcat with the H-Back (#4). He was big and lumbering and no threat to pass. They must have used it 10 or so snaps and got very few net yards on it all, if any.

He was 5/7 passing this season for 30 yards going into Saturday....  Last year he was 3/7 with a pair of TD passes.

While the numbers aren't eye-popping or anything, UWO has had some success with that look.  If I'm not mistaken, that was the same look UWO used to score once or twice against St. John's the previous week.

Couldn't help but think of this post as UWO had their lone TD drive today when they went to the Wildcat Formation to open the second half.... One could argue UWO loses today if not for the success Hecker had on that drive using the Wildcat.
