Merry Christmas to all!

(Hope that's short enough for 57 to read.) ;D

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Be safe out there! :-*

Fans of the purple persuasion must be liking this new color scheme for the D3Boards. A holiday special?

Merry Christmas MIACPP!  8-)
I believe that is lavender  8-)

MERRY CHRISTMAS posters

Purple indeed! We used to have a soccer site in the network that had the purple color and I felt it was time to reclaim the color. Best to put it here on D3boards.com, where it would be a little more non-partisan.

Maybe switch up the colour every year to the primary colour of the wining team.

I saw this interesting photo today.  It isn't known when the first high flying mark was taken in Aussie Rules, but this is the first photograph of one.  1914.

Oles hire U$T OC as head coach:

Pretty bland, inoffensive hire.

This is a quiet but very good hire for the Oles. If this doesn't get them back to at least the middle of the pack in the conference the administration might need to do an introspective look at themselves if the goal is to be a competitive MIAC team.

Since he took over the duties as UST's OC, the play calling has matured a lot. He is well respected and has an outstanding pedigree with time at LSU and Tulsa as a starting QB and coach. It's a big step from play calling and QB development to being the big boss and running the show. Plus, it will take some work to build everything up, but I would expect the Oles to be competitive in the next 3-4 years.

That's a beauty. I think it would probably make the highlight reels even today.

Killian was at Carleton for a stint.  He seemed very bright, tremendous football IQ.  Not surprising that he's already a head coach, I think he'll be a good one.  I doubt he'll be in Northfield for long.  I think he has his eyes set on some higher prize.
