Sounds like you went to party houses that were run by Ticketmaster. Did you get a receipt that looked like this?

Cup Face Value - $5
Tax  -  $0.35
Facility Charge - $1.67
Convenience Charge - $1.49
Cup Processing Fee - $0.81
Cup Delivery Fee - $0.74
TOTAL - $10.06  (purposefully not an even $10 just to piss you off)

And, that's just for your run-of-the-mill solo cup. I hear the "premium cup options" are outrageous these days.

OMG!  It's the MIAC off-season, it's St. Patrick's Day, and aside from a comment on Red Cups this morning, not a single BEER post!  You guys are going soft - ya'll join the WCTU?

Or, maybe you share my opinion that green beer is an abomination, and an affront to nature.

Paddy has had a little too much to drink celebrating St Patrick's Day but nevertheless he foolishly decides to drive home.
Of course, his car is weaving all over the road and he gets pulled over by a cop.

The cop looks at him and says, "So, where have you been?"

Paddy slurs, "Why, I've been to the pub of course."

"Well," says the cop, "It look's like you've had quite a few to drink this evening."

"I did all right," replies Paddy with a smile.

The cop stands up straight and folds his arms across his chest, as he asks, "Did you know that a few intersections back your wife fell out of your car?"

Paddy says, "Oh, thank heavens! For a minute there, I thought I'd gone deaf."
