I just now noticed the Front Page Survey question. A small nit to pick. The question asked which of the two teams who were in the Stagg Bowl last year is most likely to return. Grammatically, it should be "MORE" likely. C'mon Pat. You're better than that.

I noticed the same thing and kicked myself, too, as I was archiving it. Three months too late on that, man -- say something before it comes off the front page! Next time I'll take more than 60 seconds to write it on Stagg Bowl night ... if I remember it among the list of 25 other things going on at the same time.

Backs against the wall already in round two. We play Adelaide this afternoon at the G and Adelaide were red hot last week and smashed Premiership favourites Greater Western Sydney.  Our coach dropped four players after last week's insipid performance against Essendon so now we have seven new players from last year's final playoff game. 7 out of 22 in two games. Big turnover. Fingers crossed.

Got word that Evan Clark from Saint John's ran a official time of 4.43 at St.Cloud States Senior showcase to get exposure for upcoming seniors. He is line to have a monster year this year

Great news for Evan & SJU. His kick & punt returns have been fun to watch, now with a year under his belt playing with Erdmann the communication & comfort level from both should put up even more impressive numbers than last year.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

HansenRatings

Including kick & punt returns, Evan was easily one of the most productive receivers in the country last year.

I watched Evan Clark take a short pass and stretch the field at Augsburg last year. He is impressive.

That could be true! Or it could have been during a 30-second break in the postgame show. :)

OldAuggie, your hockey guys are alright:

Thanks for the mention BDB. That was a proud moment for all Auggies. In the middle of a playoff run,  just when we were proud of our team on the ice, they show their character with that move.

A classy gesture by the hockey team for sure.

Just renewed my SJU tickets, though I am not sure why they need my money in April.  I guess by the time September rolls around, I will have forgotten about the few hundred dollars, so it's like we're going for free!  ;)

At least they don't charge us for parking + a spot for tailgating supplies.
