I've been trying to find out who the culprit was too.

Any Hermantown hockey/gun questions, let me know.  I am a native and also played hockey, albeit quite a few years ago.  Y'all be nice to us, we get a lot of online abuse (some of it deserved).

What will happen first: St. Thomas moves to D1, Hermantown goes Class 2A?

I have no intimate knowledge w either but my guess is Herm going up to AA.  They took a lot of heat for not going now, I'm hoping they do in 2 years when it opens up again. Their peewee aa team was top 10 this year.

Third try lucky.  The Hawks are up on the Gold Coast in Queensland to take on the Suns, also winless.  So someone breaks the hoodoo here.  The Suns are the former home of Jaeger "Jaeger Bomb" O'Meara and a little acrimony is expected.

EDIT:  Well that sucked. Utterly dominated. Going to be a loooooong season.

We don't like that sh@t

Glad to see the MIAC to top the list of D3 attendance yet again!! Also happy to see the Cobbers are top 6 in attendance! What a great conference, with wonderful institutions, that we all get to watch every fall.

Re: Game attendance

The Reddit college football account had an interesting post comparing the top/bottom attendance leaders across divisions. Interesting that SJU was essentially on par with Ball St.

I know this is a bit of a played out discussion on the board, and my Johnnie allegiance won't help, but how does UST not crack the top 30 in attendance. Of course winning games is better than winning attendance titles but why not both? I'm confident SJU will continue to improve and contend for MIAC titles and playoff runs and I look forward to afternoons at Clemens Stadium with 7k+ fans joining me.

So, the eliminations of two a days.  What do former players think?  Yea or Nay?  Too demanding on students or too important to good prep?

As I read it it's the elimination of two a day contact practices.  Teams would still be allowed to practice the same number of two a days as they are now just not two that involve contact.  After three hours rest they can have a walk through practice which I believe would allow one contact-one noncontact practice in a day.   Also I didn't see anything that would eliminate two noncontact practices in a day.  That's how I read it.

So reasonable?  That sucks.  We need some controversy to stimulate a spicy discussion.

After Sean 'Spicy' Spicer tried to justify the attack on Syria by saying that even Hitler never gassed his own people :o, there has been plenty of spicy discussion! ;D

Oh, that's not the sort of spicy discussion you meant? :D

I wish that event weren't so close to home because there are so many comments to be made. ("Air rifle?  Yikes!" gasped the Timmie coed.) But alas.

Most likely teams will just practice a little longer than usual and have more film time. Shouldn't be too much of a difference

Go get triggered somewhere else Mr. Ypsi. We declare this a "safe space" from political crap like your post.

My thoughts go along the lines of BadgerWarhawk's - I don't think it's going to change a lot of things moving forward. I'm not familiar with two-a-days in their current form on any campus. But "back in the day" at BU, I recall that the morning practice was only helmets and shoulder pads with no "hard hitting" with many foot drills and a good long run at the end. We only went full speed in the afternoons after a prolonged stretching period at the beginning of the practice.

What's this "film time" of which you speak?  :)
