I was there. Not a whole lot of discussion of transfers and what was mentioned was kind of glossed over as TBD.

Anyone go to the QB club last night at Plum's?  Caruso showed the incoming recruiting class.  Just wondering if there were a few transfers coming in this year. I noticed Brooks Carroll from Bemidji and Tait Kelly from Gustavus, but just wondering if there were a few others.

In other news, Charlie Dowdle got an invite to the Jaguars camp. Wish him luck! https://twitter.com/UST_Football/status/859056022673129472

I'm in New Delhi for the first time. This place must be the postcard photoshopping capital of the world.

Like you wouldn't believe.

The Taj Mahal is near here so I imagine I'll need to work a reason to return so I can see that place but... not soon.

With players not signing binding letters of intent at the D3 level does anyone know what is required by the NCAA for the player to be recognized as a member of the team/school? At the D1 and D2 levels a coach isn't able to publically discuss a player until they've signed a letter of intent. Is there a similar point in D3 or can a coach discuss/share footage of a prospect/recruit at anytime?

I'm not crying foul on Glenn, just curious about the process at the D3 level.

It's typically the receipt of a housing deposit, or some similar financial commitment by the prospective student athlete.

Yep, but even then it's not a guarantee. The coaches only know who's likely to be on their team once the kids show up in August, and even then a few will quit and/or transfer.

True, but that's the NCAA designation for when it becomes acceptable to recognize them as a member of the team.

And generally that deadline for a deposit is May 1. On Twitter on May 1-2, there were literally hundreds of recruiting announcements from Division III coaches.

No doubt, and Dumo is earning his paycheck!  He's bringing in a lot of out of state talent.
