Well, it's a beautiful day for a football game here in Menomonie. All the students are back and with the UST campus less than an hour away I expect a big crowd at Williams stadium.

Will Chicago Tommie be here? I haven't heard.

If I remember correctly the stats from last year were pretty close between these 2 teams except for turnovers and of course the score. Hopefully for the Devils they can hold on to the ball better and make a game of it.

I may miss the game tomorrow as we're having some friends and family over tonight for a nice dinner to celebrate #1's 18th and my 50th.

On Friday I was working from home and the wife returned from a long shopping trip when she came inside and asked for some help at the car.  "Ok.  Sigh.  I'm trying to work here."  And I walk out to the car to see my parents.  A sneak, one-week trip for the birthday celebrations.  Pretty good.
Since we always have a sellout, your empty seat will stick out.
Have fun. We will miss you  :)

Stout is a solid team. I remember they moved the ball pretty well last year. The OL and QB were impressive. I'm expecting a good game.

The UWW folks seem a little nervous (rightly, given last week) about the game against CON.  I'll be paying attention to that one with interest.  I wonder how the Cobbers will go.

The Cobbers will be up 6 with 2 seconds left and find a way to lose. You heard it here first.

Wow... That's a sad but very likely prediction.
Cobbers will lose by 10.

It just feels like there's just something not quite right with the Warhawks. Even going back to the end of last season, something just seems a bit off.

Today is not the day to wear red around town. The Ducks are playing Nebraska at home! 8-) ;D

Thanks for the birthday wishes, all.  Despite the challenge, I've toughed it out and I'm here.  Bleary eyed and likely to fall back asleep, but I'm here.

Cobbers come up so huge today with the win over WW 25-17. Defense was incredible. Offense had punch too.

Great home win at the Jake to kick off Concordia's 100th season!

So where do the Cobbers land in the top 25?
If the human brain were so simple that we could fully understand it...we would be so simple that we couldn't.

Charlie Carr interviewed Evan Clark post game and he said that he just rolled his ankle but he's fine! :D

In the 20s. They had no votes in this weeks poll, and Whitewater has a reputation but currently 0-2.

Great to see the Cobbs finally get over the hump and beat a team an elite caliber program! Sad to see the posters on here with no confidence in them. Will be fun to see where they end up this year, it is an experienced team that has potential for a great season!

I fell asleep in the third quarter, right about the time the game did as well.

Does anyone know the UST result?

Great game Cobbers.  I'm really looking forward to the last game of the season now.  It could be a big contest.

St. Thomas is leading 22-17 with about 5 minutes left, but Stout is in the Thomas half of the field.

Anybody been watching that game?  Is Stout just better than what we/I thought?  Is St. Thomas playing sloppy?  Combination of the two?
