I fell asleep in the third quarter, right about the time the game did as well.

Does anyone know the UST result?

Great game Cobbers.  I'm really looking forward to the last game of the season now.  It could be a big contest.

St. Thomas is leading 22-17 with about 5 minutes left, but Stout is in the Thomas half of the field.

Anybody been watching that game?  Is Stout just better than what we/I thought?  Is St. Thomas playing sloppy?  Combination of the two?

I just tuned in.  So far two things seem true: A) Tommies suck!, and B) Tommies suck!  So its tough to say.

91 for the Tommies is such a classy player - losing like a true loser.

agree.  low class, cheap shots.

Congrats BDB and your team!  Taking down the Tommies in style.

And the Tommies losing in style as well!  A flury of personal fouls to finish in style, including the traditional charging of the victory formation.  Good job, Tommies.  Quite a reputation you're building at that F.A.M.I.L.Y.!!!

I think U$T isn't as good as advertised however Stout is a much better team than anybody expected. They held U$T 22 points....two of those points came on a safety...their defense looked good but I also think U$T might have one of those big, slow offensive lines.
The Tommie$ demonstrated they don't know how to handle a loss the way their defense ended that game...acting like a$$hole$ is about the only way to describe it. Victory formation and you blast the offensive line like that...somehow and for some reason I think that might be coached...pretty sad. Somebody should have got their ass ejected. Top it of w/ two other personal fouls in the second half that kept drives alive for Stout. It's not hockey but I guess it's a hat trick on playing cheap!

At least the Tommies had the balls to schedule teams that could give them a game.  I hear St. Michael-Albertville high school has an open date for next year - lets get coach Fasching their phone number.

That the Tommie's lost or the Tommie's suck?
The former.  I live close enough to U$T to not be terribly surprised by the cheap shots.

And Bethel got its collective hat handed to them by Carthage. Marquardt went down near the end of the first quarter and they switched QB's middle of the fourth. (Which in my opinion, did not help one iota.)

Congrats to the Cobbers, the Johnnies, and the Auggies. Good luck to the Gusties and the Pipers later tonight.
