Yo,

Just wondering how Bethel College is doing this year; haven't really had a chance to look into it?

Bethel College is undefeated, in fact they haven't been scored on.

Bethel University, as they now call themselves, is 3-4 losing to Central (would have won if they wouldn't have given up 2 TD's in the last 8 min), St. Olaf (would have won if they had a kicker), St. John's (would have won if they had scored 22 more points), and Concordia (would have won if they could have held onto the ball in the second half, shut down Schumacher, and gotten Porta on track).

well said KR
I will add that those 4 teams that have beaten us are a combined 27-2 and the teams we have beaten are 8-12.  We just haven't been able to rise to the challenge and beat the top teams in the conference we have played.

You love to bring up that record don't you?

St. Olaf will be 5-2 in 2 weeks and finish up 6-2.

Central will probably lose to Bethel and beat Dubuque and BV to end up 8-2

SJU will finish 10-0 (not including playoffs)

Concordia will finish 9-1 (ditto)

If Bethel wins out, their opponents' combined record will likely be  33-5... pretty good.

However if GAC beats Bethel, it will plummet to 35-12 or something like that.

Off-topic: where'd you find that photo for your avatar, KR?

Whoever is smiting me is going to get beaten like a red-headed step child!

Mighty Royal

You mean beaten like Bethel by a team with a winning record?

MR, I just gave you some positive karma.  A secret smiter must have done his work
at the same time as your karma did not move.

Duff,  It's been a busy week.  But I see my karma's jumped quite a bit while I've been away, so maybe I'll stay away longer. :D

I won't be there for pre-game this week, but should be there by the second quarter, just in time for the 5th Johnnie TD.

If you were coaching SJU, and won the toss, would you send your defense out first to make a statement or receive and hope to score?

DuffMan

Alright, I'll have to find another Hang-your-Balls partner.  I'm taking applications now.  Send me a private message.

Sorry, Frank, but you suck too much to be considered.
