If you were coaching SJU, and won the toss, would you send your defense out first to make a statement or receive and hope to score?

If I were coaching SJU, I'd know that it wouldn't matter :D

Defer, Meidt takes the ball...... SJU D makes a statement..... recovers a fumble on the STO 10, next play SJU up 7-0
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Mr.Shoes

And then kick off to start the second half just to screw with 'em.
Nice day, huh?

I'm with 105 exactly.  STO, given Meidt's idea to play the numbers, opts to kick in the first half (inexplicably, because he'll do so again in the second half), and does so with an onside kick that SJU calls a fair catch on.  On the ensuing play Lofboom hangs on to the ball this time in making it 7-0.

Mighty Royal: Given the morons and psychos who have access to these boards, it is an honor to be smitten.

Kilted Rat

Meidt will likely defer as previously mentioned should Olaf win the toss.

I see Olaf getting a few plays and then getting shut down going for it on 4th and 4 from midfield.

SJU takes the ball down and scores and the route is on.,
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Mr.Shoes

Over-under on the time required for the first Johnnie score: 3:47 (11:13 on the clock)

Of course, while that is in game time, real time might be close...
Nice day, huh?

ROR,

I told you the other day that I take my new privileges very seriously.  I only exert my powers when I notice an especially extraordinary post or when I see one so rancid it reminds me of how Bethel plays against SJU each year.

Duffy,

Don't be so paranoid.  Heading to pick up the Hamms now.

OAS, c'mon, we read that yesterday!!!

Congrats to Matt Hawn on the Draddy Award finalist and post-graduate scholarship.  A great honor and pride to MIAC student-athlete prowess. http://www.footballfoundation.com/news.php?id=738

Each [finalist] will receive an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship, and one of the 16 will be announced as the recipient of the 2005 Draddy Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best scholar-athlete in the nation. Established to honor former NFF Chairman Vincent dePaul Draddy, a Manhattan College quarterback who developed the Izod and Lacoste brands, the award comes with a stunning 24-inch, 25-pound bronze trophy and increases the winner's scholarship to a total of $25,000.

Greg Eslinger of the football goophers also won an award, as did Ryan Koch from SCSU- three Minnesotans isn't bad (ok, Hawn and Koch are Wisconsinites, but they're OUR cheeseheads...).
