Maybe Bigfoot hunter could come back as Head Coach and they could do a halftime show of him chasing a guy in a bigfoot costume around. I would pay to see that.
That guy was one of the more "unusual" hires that I can remember in the MIAC FB scene.
He had a resume & must have interviewed well  ::)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I hope that's the last time we lose to St John's.

Good luck with that.

We're probably in the midst of a Schembechler/Hayes OSU/Michigan 10-year war, possibly longer. Honestly, this is the way it should be. I like the 50/50 feeling much more than the outcome-is-predetermined feeling (only once per regular season mind you).

As much as I think the SJU beatdown was an anomaly, it has made me exponentially more nervous about the Bethel game.

IMO UST will thrash BU

They'll do like the Cubs did at Wrigley....construct a new video board somewhere, but keep the old scoreboard.  Those red lights are priceless.

I'm good with that.  Cripes, they've updated everything else, yet that old scoreboard remains.  I know years ago, the monastic community objected to it.  Hell, they have turf, lights, presidential suites, and a freaking dome.  I don't think an up-to-date scoreboard is going to be a detriment to the Collegeville ambiance.

My birthday too so I will repeat a story I've posted before.
When I was little I thought all good Catholics had to go to church today because it was my birthday. Later on in life I realized we all had to go to church because it was John's birthday.   :D

Has Hamline been competitive since the mid-80s?  They've been at the bottom of the MIAC as long as I can recall, which is the mid/late 90s.

In looking at the game notes I was surprised to see Hamline last beat the Jays in 1994, up in Collegeville. My initial thought was 1994 is relatively new but it's nearly a quarter century ago.

And in an 8 year period, '83-90, the teams split 8 games.

I'll add my Happy Birthday John to the others.

Loved your comment on the reason for going to church today. Classy,

Did you find out if the new kid, MiacMn, drinks Milwaukee's Best Light? Might want to check.

I knew they were decent in the 80s because when they were recruiting me, most of the game footage they showed me was from the 80s.  :o
