Four days to go. Time moves so slowly at this time of year.

Oz, since you are 17 hours ahead would you please provide me election results so I won't need to stay up half the night?  Thanks in advance.

I can tell you right now. No matter who you voted for the government still got in.

I'm actually bouncing in my seat waiting for the regional rankings. I believe the Jays have a very good argument for being ranked number one and I hope the committee agrees.

Oz, you've sure got a thing for the regional rankings!  Take a few deep breaths.

A tradition unrivaled...

Undoubtedly. Maybe it's because the Hawks have had a couple down years I'm going psycho for the
Johnnies while they look hot.  Plus the UWW crowd will be so utterly trollable that I'm relishing the opportunity.

Help me out here. I really am confused. Aren't there 3 regional rankings? We've only had 1 - right? This Wed. Will be #2 - right? But Sunday is selection Sunday. What happened to #3?
My problem is explained in my signature. I hate it when this happens. Thanks.

Actually, I'll take help from anybody. Thanks!
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

I ain't the world's expert, but I suspect that selection Sunday is the third rankings.

Sort of.  Selection Sunday is based on the third and final rankings (which used to remain permanently secret, but are now released after the selections have been announced).  Since Wednesday's second rankings are the first to take into account RROs, unless something drastic changes for either SJU or UWW (or their opponents), whoever is ahead on Wednesday will more than likely remain so for the final rankings.  (Although, if they are razor-close on Wednesday - and who can know how close or decisive the advantage is? - even a small change in SoS might tip the scales.)

The UST vs Bethel match up or as finsleft calls it, The Bridesmaid Bowl, has an interesting twist. Steve Johnson has a track record of taking a Freshman QB & throwing him into the fire, riding that horse to the finish line. This will be a huge test for Roste, is he up for the test? If Bethel prevails & Roste is the horse that brings them to the finish line, we may be witnessing another Bethel team that will be really tough for the next 3 years.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

OzJohnnie

I prefer the Thunderdome theme.  I reckon it will be a real hammering.

A week ago I would have given the Tom$ a 10-14 point edge...not sure about that now. Bethel will need to have success throwing the ball to win. High temp will be 29 with not much rain. Not great conditions for the passing game.
If I were Tommie$ I would pound it with Parks...get on top early and grind it out.

I'm feeling pretty similarly. I might have taken the over on the 14 point thing at one point. Now, we just have to grind it out to get in the playoffs and hopefully we can get Perra and [/handwavy motion] things sorted out.

On the other hand, the optimist in me still believes we are capable of competing for a title and we are going to start the upward trend by crushing Bethel into submission.

Hey Oz, when do those regional rankings come out?  :D :D :D
