Happy Thanksgiving, all.  And since the Vikings aren't playing they don't introduce suck to the day, which is twice as nice.

@USee, you may be right that it's the NCC defense v Bethel offense.  If it is then you're golden as the BU offense doesn't put up points like NCC does.  It seems to me, though, that if BU's strength is defense and NCC's strength is offense then that's were the battle will be fought.

I'd be interested to find out where you get those rankings from, though.

Stats.NCAA.Org

The battle will be fought with strength vs strength. But if both of those units are top 5 it seems the team that creates the most opportunities on the other side of the ball will have the edge. More of a margin in the NCC D vs Bethel O matchup.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone as we go into the holiday season.  May this year be the one where my wife doesn't get me a sweater from St.John's  of New York...
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Wow.  RPI wins the hero award for this century.  https://www.d3football.com/notables/2018/11/rpi-lineman-saves-train-full-of-holiday-passengers

QuoteAccording to multiple news reports, two train cars which were added to an Adirondack train from Montreal to New York, separated shortly after departure from Rensselaer, New York. Only the swift action of Clarke, 18, prevented a disaster. Clarke, who was a passenger on one of the two separated cars, leaped forward and pulled the emergency brake.

Lineman everywhere can take pride in this guy.

Which stat would you say I missed? I said NCC is 5h nationally in offense (they were last week) and now they are 6th. I also said Bethel D was 5th and they are 7th

I know that the point of my original post is not in question if that's the answer you are looking for.

You may also want to check your notes to see which is "my team".

Rain delay at the T20 cricket, Australia v India @ the MCG.  It's the best form of cricket for the casual observer to watch but it's no baseball game.

Guess you have huge stadiums (stadia?) in Australia. Where is that one? Thanks Oz. 🇦🇺 🍺
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

That's the Melbourne Cricket Ground.  It holds about 96k.  I reckon we had 80k for the match tonight (rained out) and 70k were backing India.

Is that the match that last 2 weeks or only a fortnight?  :)

Ha. Exactly.

A proper Test match lasts five days and most of them end in a draw, meaning no result.  It's a game invented when people had much more time on their hands and the world moved at a much slower pace.  More boring than counting grains of sand on the driveway.

This was a version that lasts a little under three hours.

Were there any "wicked googlies?"

On another note, does anyone have any info on whether the Johnnie (or Bethel) game will be streamed? My MIAC app on ROKU does not have either listed on the schedule.
