Freebird,
I believe he was at the game last weekend against Auggie Tech.

Then there was the streaker that turned a cormer at CSB and ran smack, i.e., nose-to-nose, with Sister Mary Mark.

Repete,

You must have been at SJU the year my mom was an RA at the Ben's. She told me that exact story about a year ago.
If I remember correctly, he had a paper bag over his head and had forgotten to cut eye holes (must have gone to SCSU). She turned him around in front of all the girls and de-bagged him!

Johnnie fans I might make a trip to collegeville on sat. to watch the sju/olaf game and see if the oles get a double monkey stomp.  Then I can see how the olaf/cc game will be the following sat.  I don't think it would be worth to go to Auggie Tech/CC game.  Who does Auggie Tech turn to since ML is done for the year?  Gameday is almost here and we see if the Oles are for real.  Thats all I got

Shoes,
I know you know who I be and how I gets down, I was just representin' 8)

CobbNation,

Based on last weeks performance, the Techhies don't have much to turn to. Hagen sounded pretty solid when he had time, however against Dumo and Good et al that was not a luxury he often had.

Frank - Grolsch Amber? What're you doing drinking the cheap stuff? Been raiding the toss-out bin at work?

Kilted - just emailed you a video clip I obtained from Life Safety of you in college...

Ah, Memories.

One night one of the upperclssmen (who shall remain nameless because of his position) came home a little inebriated, when he heard Fr Aiden yell "Mr SMITH" (not his real name.)
To which he turned and said, "I'm sorry father, I thought you were the telephone."

Or the Halloween I put a potato on my Johnson and went as a "Dictator"

Freebird,

Everyone on this board is familiar with the signature Bethel flop.  Do I need to spell out in detail what I mean?...In regards to my attendance, yes I have been to a few games this season and seen many teams from around the country over the past several seasons (SJU playoff games, yea I know that never happens at BU).

Perhaps you should heed this advice in the future before making outlandish assumptions:

That looks like a very conservative estimate fins.  I see a more Bethel-esque performance from the Oles on Saturday.  Wide eyed and scared to death.  Johnnies romp a domp the Monkey Stomp 38-0.
So when was the last time you actually watched a SJU or a MIAC football game in general?

Don't question the Busdriver's football knowledge. It was last Saturday, and he would not be distracted from the game.

38-0 it is.

Before I leave for a night of pre- Saturday training, and before you all go out to do your Saturday shopping, I wanted to let you know I have paper plates, napkins, ketchup mustard, JR's grill, most of a bag of charcoal, some cups. Will pick up koolaid supplies tomorrow (I want it to be really fresh!). Wish list: cups maybe, Frank bring your pickles, Rumba Rumba, Paris H., and anything else we couldn't possibly survive without.
Late night edit after late night snack:
Oh, I've got da cheese too.

Fins,

Thank you for the clip, that was my sophmore year on TDT's birthday. I never did figure out where that extra appendage came from.

The rest of you can see the mentioned clip here: http://www.drennor.com/video/ibc/ibcArm.htm

Nice original thought Bus driver.  It is pretty ironic those words came from you of all people.  I hope I didn't get to person and force you to crawl into a hole for a week again.

I have said multiple times I think SJU will win and probably by at least 2 touchdowns.  Let me put it in words you can understand.  SJU will probably win by a monkey stomp but not a stompout.

all in fun  :)

That would be Hamm's right fins???

Bird,

Did I dispute the number of pts SJU would win by this weekend with you?  Don't get carried away here....The Bus never hides.  Ask fellow posters.  Could you please document my absence of a full 7 days?  If not, I will be hiring the "Johnnie Dream Team" to take care of you.

It is a tough call.  Wilsey got injured in practice last week, but played.  I know most Oles have a faith in Penz.  Horace Gant went down with what I was told was a concussion in the Hamline game.  He got tackled in to a chain gang person.  I cannot believe that in college you do not have real officials running the chains.  If you think that a player might come close drop the sticks and get out.  The whole St. Olaf section did chant Horace as he was driven to the other side of the field.  I have yet to see Hutchins play in some time.  I saw him on campus and he looked fine, but we will see.  Injuries might hurt Olaf, but we will see at kickoff.

I think both teams will likely defer to the second half.  Most likely the team that must choose will take the ball.  Olaf has a ton of speed, and I think playing on a faster surface benefits them.  If injuries do not play a role, then this game comes down to kicking.  Both teams will score.  Both defenses will stop the offenses at times.  There will be punts.  I look for a FG from about the 30 to win it.  Someone's going to drill a long one.  Everyone likes the game winner, but I think this one will be early.  One team will win by a field goal or less.

KR,
Yup, it's not only the loaf that became a legend . . . your mom and I were witnesses to history.  Nothing worse than being debagged at St. Ben's.

Then there was the time after way to many Black Russians a  certain raiderguy dressed as Dracula scared the Bejesus out of a bunch of kids in a convenient mart. Later to be found in a certian restroom stall  in Madsen's Liner in a not so envialble position, but still the same the subject of tours of the mens room to see Dracula passed out doing what ever. Oh the shame of it all.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL IN THE MIAC.

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Ole Fan;

Making excuses about injuries at this point is called "tipping your hand"......

This game smells too much of payback and inexperience....

Johnnies in a BU like Monkey Stomp... ok, maybe not that bad, let's just say 31 - 17 Johnnies.

I don't think anyone will argue with me on this one.

Bus?  Did you send that email to the "sweet-wick" yet?

Y'all just be real.
