And  yeah congrats to Bethel. Sounds like today's game could have easily gotten really out of hand and instead they hung right there.

The pick on 3rd and goal from the 3 was the back breaker.

I think that happened in both MIAC loses today. Both back breakers.

Only I believe it was 1st and goal in the SJU game.

Wonderful game, Johnnies.

Defensively, y'all stymied our attack most of the game. Credit is due to blitzes and formations. For whatever reason, UMHB does not do well with picking up the schemes. It seems as though we don't adjust, and I thought we had gotten better at the Oline and QB play. We will have to do a LOT better.

Offensively, Your QB is a stud and deserves to win the Gagliardi. Very impressed by his play.

A fantastic day of football.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

According to SC Times story, Johnnies failed to score 7 times inside Cru's 35. Didn't seem like that many, but...ouch. Four failed fourth downs, three TOs.

And Erdmann did separate left shoulder in 3rd quarter, but kept playing.

I noticed the sling. Kudos to that guy. Any word on the WR that was injured on the last Johnnie play?

My Johnnie heart is sad today I really hope for a SJU -UMU rematch. Watched much of the game and really thought you would pull it out. Great season and keep kicking the Tommies arse!
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Haven't seen anything but did see in game story coach say that Will was mad he didn't make that last catch, so I take that as a pretty good sign that he is doing relatively okay, if he could be bummed about not hauling that in (would have been a hell of a grab). Was scary watching when video cut away from it and announcers were talking about EMTs rushing in, etc. So sounds like he hopefully got lucky.

He tossed 418 yards today and had about 150 in the first half, from memory. Meaning he threw over 200 with one arm dislocated.  Tough as nails.

Congratulations on a great season Johnnies, sad to have it come to a end like this.  Though you do end up having to play the best to be the best I hope that the ncaa refigures their seeding system.  I maintain that any of the three top MIAC teams would have walked through the East region.  Life isn't fair and sometime the deck is stacked against you, but...
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Great game, Johnnies.

I was beginning to see Johnnie Magic winning this one.

Even if they won, they might have been without 2 of their biggest weapons next week.

My statement before the game about the importance of the Johnnie LB's and the Cru DB's turned out to be  pretty good. Both those units played well. The UMHB DB's exceptionally well. They were probably the difference.
