And Erdmann did separate left shoulder in 3rd quarter, but kept playing.

He tossed 418 yards today and had about 150 in the first half, from memory. Meaning he threw over 200 with one arm dislocated.  Tough as nails.

Incredible playing QB like he did with that separated shoulder.  You could only tell he was hurt when teammates would go to help him up and he only offered his right arm.

Today was the only complete game I've seen Erdmann play.
Just voted for him for the Gagliardi

Johnnies, that was a hell of a season. You played your guts out and I'm grateful.  This is the most engrossing season in years. Your commitment to excel lured us all in like ants following the smell of sugar.

The seniors, in particular, I would like to congratulate. I have no idea if you see the messages on this board but you're an impressive group of men and have added immeasurably to the Johnnie legacy. And you certainly honoured John with your commitment and attitude. I'm proud to be a member of the alumni community you're all joining.

To those who are returning to play again, take pride and inspiration from this year's accomplishments. I know you can step even further.  Good luck!

Great game, Johnnies.

I was beginning to see Johnnie Magic winning this one.

NO

Real classy UMHB2001, this is the MIAC board for Pete's sake.

Word is Will Gelach is fine. Eight stitches in his leg. Apparently he got caught real good by a helmet clip.   Not nearly as bad as it looked.

Good to hear, RoR. Sorry you couldn't bring a victory back with you.

Congrats Royals and Johnnies on two really great seasons. Wish we had a team still alive, but both battled hard today.

Great admiration for SJU and BU. Both teams are tough, talented and deserving of deep playoff runs.

Second that. Bethel pass rush was the best i've seen all year.

Good to hear.  A bad injury would have been some salt in the wounds.

That's good to hear. The way they motioned for the EMTs had us all scared. Seeing him get up and walk was a big relief.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Man, was I pulling for the Johnnies at the end of the game. When the on-side kick was executed to perfection, I was sure the "Johnnie Magic" had been unleashed. I am quite certain that the MIAC is going to be a hard fought conference next year.

3 plays... otherwise the Johnnies win if they would have run the ball or not get greedy... WOW I wasn't impressed by UMHB offense,,, Johnnies should have won that game in My humble opinion! They had their chances!!! SAD!   :'(

To add more praise onto what the Johnnies accomplished this season. Over their last 9 games, they played 4 unbeaten, ranked opponents (I'm including Bethel who we all know should have been ranked then) the Johnnies are 3 - 1, with their only loss coming to the #2 ranked team by 3 points in their house.

And for you WIAC fans, who I know and love. SJU and UWW have now played three common opponents, and the Johnnies have outperformed the Warhawks in 2 of the three. Next week will tell more of the story.

Whatever makes you feel better after yesterday's loss my friend. Keep the jabs and typical back hand compliments coming.
