You know I'm a Johnnies fan. Was rooting for you all the way. Put a post on here awhile back pulling for you guys to win. Talked to former players in Alliance before a UMU/SJU game a few years back. They had all graduated and had, in fact, played the previous year against Mount. Really nice, classy guys. But I had been a St. John's fan years before that. Great school, great football program and a tradition that never loses. John wouldn't have it any other way.
So, congrats on a nice season. I think you made the point that next year, everybody better look out for The Johnnies. I know you'll be back. So do you!
And Oz, thanks for rooting for the Raiders. We'll take all the help we can get. Go Johnnies!

To add more praise onto what the Johnnies accomplished this season. Over their last 9 games, they played 4 unbeaten, ranked opponents (I'm including Bethel who we all know should have been ranked then) the Johnnies are 3 - 1, with their only loss coming to the #2 ranked team by 3 points in their house.

And for you WIAC fans, who I know and love. SJU and UWW have now played three common opponents, and the Johnnies have outperformed the Warhawks in 2 of the three. Next week will tell more of the story.

That's a matter of opinion, not fact. I think a good argument could be made that if the Johnnies had to play Bethel in the weather we had to play them in, they would have gotten beat.

Well, I was almost going to cheer for UWW but since you're on the MIAC boards less than 24 hours after the heartache of that loss I'm going for UMU.  I've never come across a UMU supporter on our boards big noting after the loss, much less big noting against the Johnnies when they didn't even play them.  And don't give me the "but retagent" excuse.  His team just loss.  Yours won.  And yet you still have the small man syndrome.

It doesn't matter which team comes out of your semi next weekend because you're both going to lose to Mount.  Roll Raiders.

Retagent doesn't need you to come to his aid, especially if he chooses to take shots at teams that have nothing to do with SJU losing that game. He can give his opinion, but should expect a response if some of us don't agree with it. He can dish it out and take it.

I went up one year when they played ust3 and we had some beers-but he left them in the car all night and it was in the 20s early in the morning-so we had frozen beer. He was a nice guy and great fan.
