Can we be adult and not make fun of KIDS?

There is usually more to the story. These are kids trying to find their way.  The path is not always linear.

Do we have any confirmation that the Windsor kid is going to SJU now? astro/dad just indicated he was coming to the MIAC which he had pushed for for a while, but no indication of what school and I haven't see anything definitive anywhere else.

The other day I tracked down his Twitter profile and he's listed SJU and also St. Joseph, MN as his location...so that might be some indication.

This isn't pro football, folks. It's college students. Genuinely amateur ones at that.  I don't think they need this sort of personalised commentary and scrutiny.

It's been quite a while since I've gone somewhere distinctive enough to play Name That City.  So I took this pic from the hotel bar last night. Can anyone name the city?

As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Ok, I'll take a real shot at this. Since I know your business footprint I'll go with: Singapore

Ding, ding.  We have a winner.

I thought my hint would be too obvious ("I love what you do. Bye.").  This place is flatter than Iowa.  Giant freaking buildings poking straight up out of a dead flat desert with nothing for as far as you can see.

That's quite an impressive view from the hotel bar. The only bars I ever find myself in have deer heads and northern pike mounted on the walls.

I woke up at 4am when i was there 10 years ago; my body clock slightly off. I went for a quick run and found lines of poop trucks outside hotels. The city spawned too quickly for them to put in place a proper sewage system, so the trucks line up every morning to pump the hotels and make a long trip out to a site in the middle of the desert.

OzJohnnie

Ah, the desert poop truck.  Perhaps Stearns County isn't so backwards after all.

Apparently, UST got a JUCO transfer QB. That's all I know at this point. However, I do know that they are very high on the kid they have From California (Ronnie Jones) they feel he is comparable to Gould who brought them to the Stagg Bowl. Stay tuned.

This is interesting. I was not impressed with most of what I saw from Jones last year and don't think the job will be handed to him. what's the story with Frankl?

Apparently, Frankl was injured in a futures game last fall. He tore his labrim on his throwing shoulder and had to have surgery. As of now, he does plan to return next fall.

Is a 'Futures Game" what the rest of the world calls a JV or JV inter-squad game?

Thanks for the update. That makes a little more sense, as he seemed to be showing promise (and coach had made comments in that regard) but then fell completely off the depth chart in a few of the mid to late season blowouts.
