Since TDT and Whoa Nelly were opening up a can of worms I thought maybe everyone should consider getting the original Can of Worms composter!

PS: Sumander you're in.

Where can I get on this train?

Duff, Except for an accountant, we got a business group together with the "skills to make mils."

But we don't have an idea yet.  ???

So, you are the idea guy!  :)

Buckman

The old man  was sitting on a bench at the mall.  A
teenager came by and  sat down.  He had spiked hair in all different
colors, green, red, orange, yellow, blue.....  The old man just  stared!
Everytime the teen looked, he was staring!

The  teenager finally said sarcastically, "What's the
matter, old timer?  Never done anything wild in your life?"

Without  batting an eye, the old man replied, "Got drunk
once and had sex  with a peacock and was wondering if you could be my
son?!"

Willy Wonka

Wonka just discovered the glory that is Halo in his new roomies XBox collection. Including yesterday, he currently has 5 of the next 6 days off of work. What are the chances he goes crosseyed from this ultra addicting game during that time? Well, about the same as he would from watching porn over that same time but, as my girl Lucy used to say, "If it's not one ting it's another."

Frank - Where were you to inform me about the greatness of this game? I'm disappointed.

Wonka has also been trolling ebay for redic costume ideas for 12/21 at Lambeau. It's going to be a good day.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I don't claim to have business skills.  If you need any chemical analysis, though, I'm your guy.

Here it is for those of you who wanted to see a pic of my pike...sorry, I couldn't get a horizontal pic of the fish...was fighting it for 30 minutes and it got tangled in the net with my lure so I just hooked him with a big hook and got it back in the water ASAP so that it would survive....

Mighty Royal
Sweet fish, MR. Care to share some of the details, i.e. lure/bait, where on Kab, etc. Don't worry, I won't be going back there for another 5 months, so your secret's safe with me.

NIce fish, but I should have figured that you're too big of a pansy to hold it.  I would have licked that thing and enjoyed it.

WN: By joke, I meant RACKET, as in always messing with people and dragging their feet to pay out a rightful claim.  Rest assured there are stories abound from the many posters on this board regarding increased premiums after making a large necessary claim.  Pay premiums forever, they certainly go in one direction NORTH and then when somebody wants to file a claim the POS (piece of sh!t) insurance crooks drag their feet, don't pay everything they should, claim they are going under, and then throw up double digit premium hikes to top it off.  That is what I am referring to.  Sorry I had to LAY IT OUT for you, seemed pretty self explanatory.

It is great to pay some life insurance to someone who needs it.  I never said otherwise.  However, I have firsthand knowledge of the BS tactics that the insurance industry uses (especially following hurricanes/natural disasters that would make most on this board cringe, fins and SJU56321 feel me here)

That is really too bad that you've had that much bad experience with your insurance provider (read w/serious tone - no sarcasm in the message).  I've gone to bat for many clients in the claims process when I felt the company was wrong - but I've also had to bat for the company when I felt the insured's claim was outlandish a couple of times.  You're painting a pretty broad brush - thousands of claims are satisfied each day and don't make the news or courtroom.  It is far from a perfect system but not many perfect systems exist.  I thank god some days that I am not an adjuster.  You're negative experiences are unfortunate but do not mean everyone associated w/the industry is a crook (or POS insurance crook) - even if you've personally felt screwed over (which by your last post, I'm thinking is a safe assumption).  To each his own though.  I'm out - this is to involved for a summer afternoon and I've got clients to screw over.

Has anyone golfed the course up in Princeton?  I have never and I'm up there on Saturday - from the sound of it, there are plenty of trees and lost golf balls.

Johnnie Red

Mighty Royal, that is a great fish. What is even nicer is the fact that you are wearing a cap that is red and white. Though it is difficult to read the writing on the front, I am going to assume it says "GO JOHNNIES!"

Duff, I thought for sure you would come up with a couple money making ideas like...

1) A lolipop that looks and tastes like a pike.
2) Duff- The beer oh so refreshing

   and the big one

3) Duffman's D3-Football. com  ;D

OK me boyz,

I have been sitting on my deck overlooking the lake reminicing about today's events in my life.

As an entrepeneur, I smell out opportunity and have the time of my life going for it.

This is serious guys, if you want in, then be ready to deal with it:

GOAL: TO BUY A LIQUOR STORE IN THE ST CLOUD AREA
RE: BECAUSE WE CAN

As the discussion has gone today, we have multiple professionals that can add to the prospect of buying a liquor store. We have:

1) Lawyers
2) A Banker
3) An insurance pro
4) Me, who already owns 3 in Wiscy and knows the biz.

We still need an accountant.

Now, if we all lend most of our services for free to this venture, then it will be a true partnership.

So, what does it take?

1) At least $10,000 per partner to buy a store, leaving about $700,000 worth of debt service. That would be at least 8 partners.
2) Our legal guys to take care of the partnership/corporation documents and ongoing needs.
3) Our accountant (who we don't have) to take care of the books, maybe the biggest job.
4) Someone who is in the biz to run the joint. Will need a management fee of some sort.
5) A real estate person to find us a buy.

Sounds good and scary at the same time, right? Well, that's the life of an entrepeneur.

My companies do over 75 million in retail sales a year, and yes, it can be scary.

But, it can also be very fun and profitable.

So, chew on it. Bigger and greater companies have started on less of a whim.

I am just an entrepeneur, and this stuff comes to me.  :)

I figured the lawyers were to be the target audience (i.e., customers).

Will this include a franchise for the Cruzin Cooler?

It would be nice to have a basis for deducting trips back to SJU.   ;D
