I have a confession to make.

Awhile back, there was a rather lengthy discussion on this board on beer. You all talked about the various craft beers, imported beer, lagers, ales, etc., etc., etc. It's very obvious you're connoisseurs and extremely knowledgeable in the art of beer. I tip my hat (a Mount Union hat) to your expertise in this regard.

Now, I, in my 83 years, have had a beer or 10. Mostly "basic" beers, like Rolling Rock, Erin Brew, Schlitz, Pabst Blue Ribbon and the like. It's quite clear that I do not possess your level of sophistication. But I survived through the years.

However, I feel I must get this off my chest. Several days ago, I purchased a 6-pack of Natural Light for $3.99 ($4.25 with tax). Not really sure what I was thinking at the time. Could be dementia or some other natural disaster. Oh sure, I drank them, but have felt guilty ever since.

I now defer to your compassion and understanding in asking, no, begging for forgiveness. This board is filled with highly intelligent posters. I feel that because of the quality of the character of MIAC posters, perhaps, you can overlook this one transgression. I promise to return to my usual Busch Light, Milwaukee's Best or, even an occasional Bud Light.

Thanks for listening (reading) to this plea from a Dlll fan. I hope my parish priest will be as understanding (he drinks the good stuff).

In the meantime, Go MIAC teams. Best on the season. Maybe meet Mount Union in the Stagg Bowl?  ::) ;D

Confession is good for the soul 57. Now, go and sin no more (aka, break the $6.99 price ceiling on your next beer purchase)!  ;D

Wow :o ??? I just checked again for Tommie Johnnies tickets, only a few left...this game looks like its going to sellout. Tickets range from $165.00 to $650.00 per ticket.. :o.they should televise the game on espn3 or something, even local TV maybe...it's a shame that these next 2 games could be the last between the 2 schools. :'(

It's called live stream on Tommie Media, like they did when it was at Target Field.
I'll bet it won't be the MIAC game of the week. That will be Hamline vs Gustavus  ::)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I don't have to worry about going. Big game coaching 9-man football somewhere near the Canadian border.

Dan McKane will be doing a live MIAC "Profiles in Courage" web stream during that time on President Anderson down in St Olaf, that will be broadcast across all MIAC school media sites. So, unfortunately the game will not be streamed.

That should become part of the standard "the last time this happened..." graphic.

The guide is somewhat incomplete. You could also buy quarts of Walters back then for 47 cents. They were labelled "Family Size."

But Bench, a legal note, in the letter to the editor on that page,  classmate Gary Pagliaccetti opines that he might never call the Range home again.
