Any of you Johnnies have some SJU red gear I could borrow?

Kids just asked me what I was going to be for Halloween and I thought I might go as a minimum wage employee.

Mr.MIAC

We stopped by Chick-fil-A for lunch yesterday--great place for elevated fast-food. The manager mentioned that the company, particularly its advertising department, recruits heavily at CSB. I was a little surprised since Bennies (and Johnnies) aren't known for being employable. I guess in this case it makes sense, though:

Looking through the play by play from yesterday's game. Interesting to note that backup QB Ronnie Jones came in for the 3rd offensive drive still in the 1st quarter, led to a TD. Then Dolan came back in until a few drives into the 2nd half.

Texas Ole

This week St. Olaf starts the second half of their season.  Having watched a few games I know there is still plenty of room for improvement.  This half of the season won't be easy, but I am looking forward to seeing more growth from the Oles.

Texas Ole, being a Johnnie living in Northfield is tough, but I have to say I think St. O has probably won its last game of the season....but I could be wrong...

Back from closing the cabin and caught up on the posts. First, we have been going back and forth to the family cabin for 36 years now, and we finally hit a deer - ugh! Minor damage, but I saw the yearling roll into the oncoming lane (with no oncoming traffic), we turned around and did not see it laying on the road or in the ditch, so hopefully it was just their pride that was hurt. I have a left headlight assembly to replace. Second, listened to the Johnnie network and got way too excited when BU recovered the opening kick-off. I thought a sure quick seven, but ended up hitting the upright on a field goal try. Then the Johnnies roared down the field and put up six. I figured the game was over at that point, but BU kept fighting. Congratulations to the Johnnies, they were definitely the better team on this Saturday.

I had a bad feeling when SJU fumbled, but I was feeling pretty good when BU stalled out.

BU could have thrown in the towel there.  SJU looked unstoppable on that first drive.  BU made some adjustments, though, and hung in there.  The SJU receivers made some crucial drops after that first drive, too.

Sounds like a minor injury or an equipment issue that they were attending to.

The empty backfield sets by sju surprised me a bit...especially on our second or third drive that started at about the 10. One would think that U$T would bring the heat in that situation.

They did that last year and how did that work out?
