It is really hard to believe that with all of the talk earlier in the season about the MIAC being the best conference and potentially 3 top ten teams, that the MIAC is going to have a Co-Champion that likely won't make the playoffs? I just have to believe that if Bethel wins tomorrow they will get in some way some how.

That was my immediate emotional / gut reaction as well, but when you see the reasons laid out for why it won't happen unless a number of other games break their way (obviously need to beat UST, which is 50/50?), it makes sense.  Unfortunate, but reality.

Losing Saturday would suck. Winning and not making the field would suck just a tiny bit less.

My condolences for having to endure the dump that is called Kinnick. Tailgating is decent, but I wouldn't recommend the Rocky Mountain Oysters that tend to be popular in that neck of the woods.

Have fun at the game and make sure to wave at the kids in the hospital after the 1st quarter....even better, go over a little early and visit some of the families there.  I had some of my relation get treated there and it really is a grounding experience to see what those families are going through.  You think you've had rough times, just talk to someone who has a kiddo getting cancer treatment or is in a coma...makes you really count your blessings. 
Better yet, if you can't get the ticket sold, see if anyone at the hospital wants to sit next to you...might make a new friend...most likely a Hawkeye fan, but still a new friend.

If BU beats UST tomorrow, IMO, they should make the playoffs. I wonder if they will jump over SJU in the top 25 D3.com rankings?

You are mistaken my friend but in Iowa you get prairie oysters. Here in western Colorado we have authentic Rocky Mountain Oysters which are fabulous. I will admit, however, that only 8 of the last dozen I had worked.
