I'd swap Redlands for John Carroll.
I don't like it but that's what I suspect. I know Redlands sos takes a hit, not sure how that compares to John Carroll's

I bet the west goes Chapman, Redlands, UWW, SJU, Central, Wartburg.  If the Johhnies weren't an AQ then they would be in real danger of missing out as the third pool C in the west.

North Central has a very weak SOS while Wartburg's is quite strong.  As is Redlands.  Seems that both north teams should be in behind the two western squads.

Makes sense to me. Gotta make the defensive stop either way, so if you can get an extra shot at possession, take it. Field position is less critical at that spot, gotta make the stop and get the ball back.

To me it seemed early...kick deep and make a stop...make them punt flip the field and get the ball at midfield instead of the 20.

If d3football.com's playoff bracket prediction holds true how does St John's matchup against Wartburg? Disappointing for the MIAC that St John's will be the only team in!

Based off of d3football.com's projected bracket, St John's would have to defeat #24 Wartburg in Collegeville before going on the road to face #3 Whitewater, #4 Wheaton, & #1 Mount Union in all likelihood (using the last Top 25 poll). No warm weather until the Stagg Bowl!

If I remember correctly, they didn't use the clock very well and didn't have any timeouts left. They probably thought they might not get the ball back.
