I was on the opposite end of the field and Duff can vouch for me.

I vouch for him.  He was in a heated football game with my son and his son.  ;D

Lil Duff has a good set of hands. I think he's destined for greener pastures than the D-Line.

Ha!  He runs a fast 100 and 200, too.  Thankfully, he got some talents that I don't have.  Unfortunately, he seems to have gotten his height from his Mom's family.

Is he missing digits, like his dad?

Not yet, but neither was Dad until 2000.

We almost made you an OLineman because of it (and our lack of depth)

Easily make it to the semis? Good luck with that. No more Concordia Moreheads left to play so the Stagg should be a cakewalk

Easily is an exaggeration, but the C-M loss was a total fluke.  SJU outgained them 581-249.  You replay that game 9 more times and I'd bet SJU takes all 9 of them.

The same for UST against UWEC. 480 to 200 in total yards, 25 to 5 in first downs. Cost the Tommies a shot at a playoff berth, but as they say that is why you play the game.

To all my friends on this board

GO JOHNNIES!  ;D

So you have fixed all your special teams issues and won't turn it over 5x in a game in the playoffs?

It must be the post-season.  The rounding errors are gettin' mouthy.

I think USee is just nervous about his first round matchup.

Let's see, the Johnnies turned it over 13x all year (including convincing wins over Bethel and St. Thomas), so it seems highly unlikely that they would turn it over 5x in a game again.  And the kicker is 15/17 on PATs in the past 2 games, so I have a bit more confidence in that, as well.  And I would bet that a returned PAT will not happen again (even though the Cobber was down prior to returning it).

USee

I am guessing all of your playoff wins, through to the Stagg Bowl will look a lot like your games agains StThomas and Bethel. And, if you happen to lose, my guess is that the profile of that loss would be poor special teams play and turnovers. It may be impossible to you guys for anything but the STT and Bethel outcomes to happen, but on the .001% chance it does, I'm going with Fluke 2, the sequel.

I'm expecting some great video of Kai Barber running downhill vs. the 140-lb corner for Aurora.

Just hope we can keep pace with St Johns result against ML last year. A touchdown smorgasboard. Yikes.
