Just spent 5 minutes searching for the MIAC board until I saw it pinned on top. SJU education at work there.

Chapman game was fun as hell to watch. Lot less stressful watching that type of game if it's not the Johnnies involved. Starting QB got dinged up late, right, and didn't return? Although backup did incredible job, including a fourth-down TD.

They alternate those two QBs..

Okay that makes sense as he definitely didn't look like a flustered newcomer or anything.

He played well at the end - that 4th down TD pass was pretty awesome.  Full disclosure:  I texted PC in the 2nd Quarter and told him I thought rotating QBs was hurting Chapman in this game.  The text did not age well.

That's alright, man -- we had no idea there were five periods left in the game when that happened.

Anybody know if playoff rosters are posted anywhere? I didn't buy one yesterday because they were $8 and that was the same price as my ticket and out of principle i just wasn't gong to spend that in 3 sheets of paper!!

Was there any word after game on Trost? He got drilled on that final drive and was slow walking off the field.

LINFIELD - Chapman program 8 bucks too.
What's up with that?
That's almost 2 gallons of gasoline in Orange.

Guru Pat may know and chime in to confirm or refute, but it was my understanding that the gate take went directly to the NCAA to help offset expenses. My guess is that local sites are also trying to recoup their expenses for the day.

I think the host sites have some leeway on ticket prices but I would be surprised if they have leeway on the NCAA's game program and other apparel-type stuff.

Some years back when i was a newbie here, I seem to remember in that year's "play off" rule book that the gate prices are fixed at a certain price ($8.00) and that the local folks cannot change that, regardless of local protocol. I'm headed out for a spell, if unresolved when I get back, I'll take a gander at this year's rules.

I talked to Henry after the game... he's fine!
I'm with Veek...been watching games in Collegeville since 1973....don't think I've ever seen a shootout quite like that... WOW!!

FWIW.... LINFIELD fans satisfied with Fairfield Suites,  close to Santa Ana airport and 5 miles from Chapman U. Freeway adjacent.

I still think that Simpson game in 86 or 87 with fred Jackson was the best I ever saw at Collegeville.

You're thinking of Ricky Gales, but that was an amazing game, at least statistically.

Watching game as a Linfield fan l liked our chances more when #14 was in rather than #12. #12 was definitely a better passer #14 the better runner but with Mendoza running l felt Chapman was better with #12. #12 the more he was in seemed to find a more consistent rhythm than #14.

If anyone has one maybe you could take photo of the SJU roster and email it to me? My address should be in my profile.
