Thought of the MIACPP last night watching one of my favorite movies "Field of Dreams" on HBO.

The part where they are driving from Chisholm MN. back to Iowa and Costner and "Terrance Mann"  see this young guy hitchhiking and they pull over to pick him up.

Costner says "might as well give this guy a ride, we need some positive karma about now."  :)

And of course, the hitchhiker  is the young version of Archibald "Moonlight" Graham.

Sorry I'm late guys I just got back from trying out for the new superman movie.  Give me a minute to put the rosin bag back on the mound.

David,  how many times do you need to be told... the "hokie pokie"  is not considered a warm up exercise.

Keep posting gems like this and you'll catch Fins by October!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

KR: #1- I can't believe you remembered this picture from somewhere, and #2- I can't believe you found it!  :D

It wasn't this exact picture but one damn like it. If you watch Thome, he adjusts little Jim before damn near every swing.

I was pretty damn pumped to find it though ;D

Today's subliminal entry...

Whenever I turn this big unit to the left, my head clears up just enough so that I'm able to cough up a hit.

Seems like one of those pics that TDT would be more likely to remember...

As the proud owner of a Thermos propane portable grill, I must remind you that last year I was told that gas grills were for Weenies. (not burgers).

KR, you are going to have a tough time picking a caption contest winner this time! Although the pic with Thome playing with his tool gave us alot to work with.  :)

Whoa Nelly, your "Circle this Bert" comment had my Office Manager wondering what I was laughing out loud about.  :D

SUMMIT!!!!!

KR-- I left a message a few minutes ago with Dave St Peter's secrtary about the unbelieveable connection between your jinxing of oponents and the Twins' success...she got a good laugh out of it and said she thoguht Dave will too. So if he contacts you will freebies, remember you helped with the connection!  :)

All you Cuddy knockers out there-- he was pivotal in both wins... that throw out at 3B was a game saver and the diving, silding catch in the 9th was HUGE.....not as huge as Bartlett's play. JB was heralded on ESPN.cm as "a poor man's Michael Young" to which I say "he ain't Jeter, but his play is sweeter". Whoever thought Juan Castro was a better SS should be embarrassed. (hell, whoever thought Castro was a MLB SS should be embarrassed!!)

No kidding, there have been a jock strap-load of incredible captions today especially amazing considering it's a day game leaving us with limited time to post ideas.

In case Dave needs my resume, it can be found here. If he needs to contact me, you've got my phone number and e-mail.

Not gonna lie to ya, getting free tix or other stuff would be awesome. I'd settle for an autograph from the 3 young studs Liriano, Mauer, and Neshek along with my boy Cuddyer ;D

As the proud owner of a Thermos propane portable grill, I must remind you that last year I was told that gas grills were for Weenies. (not burgers).

The gas grills are to be used for Brats, the big fat German beer-boiled ones, that complement the Stiftungfestivities, but certainly and absolutely not for Stiftungfest burgers-- Chez JR and his trusty Weber charcoal shall solely prepare those.

Weenies are best served...not at all.  But when they are served, I hear the St. Thomas cafeteria does pretty well those days...  8)
